Hangman's Alley is always a challenge. I love this. I always end up building in the air. You' ve given me some great ideas to think about next time I build there.
I’m relatively new to Fallout and I’ve struggled from day 1 to build even the smallest things due to lack of ideas mostly (I’m no architect or engineer or anything but still). I’ve seen a lot of settlement build tours videos and yours is one of my favorites; gave me a lot of ideas 👍🏻 No mods builds are the best!
4:04 In a cramped alleyway like this it does make a lot of sense to put that generator up high so the exhaust doesn't smoke everyone out. I can't say I've seen too many people do that. I like how you've utilized the vertical space and especially like how twisty and windy the walkways are. It feels like the settlers built it naturally over the course of several years. I really wish Bethesda would have let us build even higher here but I understand why they didn't. Another thing worth mentioning is you seem to have managed to avoid all the preexisting electrical wires. So often when people build tall here the wires end up going through their walls or being in the way of their walkways. Sure someone could constantly duck under the wires and walk by but it just doesn't feel right to have to do that every day. Good job with a settlement that a lot of people despise building at!
Yeah building vanilla is fun indeed. You showed its possible, I knew it is possible. Well done, loved the tour. I've done many (re)buildings in Hangman and its not my favorite place to build. There's quit a lot of space actually, if you know how to that is, but to many settlers in one place makes the neighborhood go glitchy and stuttering, depends on what console you play the game as I found out myself. Didn't seen any stuttering in this video, so I presume you play on pc
@@HungryNotTense Having a lot of settlers in any settlement won't be wise, just Sanctuary 20 people max. It might get glitchy quick if you use a lot of settlers everywhere.
Hey man, awesome build! Can you help me? Im kinda noob and always wanted tô build hangmans alley.. but how do you "merge" building Witherspoon the walls? So you can build up high? Pillar glitch or mat glitch?
I love this one, so simple and neat. I always had an issue with Hangman's Alley. I am lame and cannot build into small spaces so my builds there are always overcrowded. :)) My only concern would be here the idle points for the NPCs. 1 question: how did you get those small tree plants in the wooden crates? Are those some CC content?
The ones in the wood crates, along with a lot of the other plants in this build, are CC content. I believe it was Home Decor Workshop but don't quote me on that.
This is exactly the kind of build Hangman's deserves - I like it, narrow & winding. You put in a lot more stairs and levels than I did, and utilized the space more efficiently. But then, I wanted more of a themed Settlement. th-cam.com/video/8r2DHZpC9ho/w-d-xo.html
Your lack of cat pictures disgusts me. You should be carrying cat pictures manually back to keep the pictures in them as the inventory deletes them D: I know, you are also very amazed, but I also collect other things like road barriers or whatever moves enough.

Same! This settlement forced me try all the options in the workshop when it came to building. Glad you enjoyed it.
As others have said, it is genuinely impressive and beautiful to see all the work you put into making this, and with vanilla tools none the less!!

That area was the most frustrating, some items clipped into place while the same items wouldn’t at times.
Glad you liked it 👍🏽
Very impressive build, no modded settlements are my favorite types of settlements
Thank you, glad you enjoyed it!
this is like a throwback to 2016 settlement building videos, very nostalgic
I love building in Hangman's Alley, some new ideas presented here to consider incorporating in my next build; thanks.
Very nice build. Camera work nice and smooth.
This is a great build. I have yet to get up the nerve to attempt Hangman's. But this certainly inspires some ideas.
Awesome! I would start with a small area, the rest will just flow.
What a cute little town!
This is really good. I'd love to see what you do with bigger places. Like Starlight, Sanctuary, or Vault 88.
this is cool not gonna lie, been trying to build something similar more cramped and with lots of the vanilla neon lights. Well Done
I love this. I think I need to rethink and rebuild Hangman's Alley.
Do it 🤗
Great ideas, such a small space. Excellent.

@@HermanBogaers On my Xbox Series S, I limit the amount of settlers here, I think it helps with the glitches. I’m glad you enjoyed the build

Awesome build dude absolutely love it.
Couple of questions, where did you get the pot plants and the curtains?
I'd love to know that too. Those pot plants are everything
@El_GenericoIV @waltermosito1544
They come with one of the Picket Fences issues found within the game, in the Combat Zone
Nice build!
I'm glad you like it

I wish you could take down those dead hanging bodies.
Same
Mods are your only option for that!

@@TheInsaneShecklador Thank you for the info! I saw in CC that there are new Picket Fences magazines but haven't checked all content yet.
It's the Home Decor Workshop that has the "crated" plants, it's a Creation Club add-on.
Very beautifull !
i don't have glass walls and metal stairs in my building menu...???
It’s part of the add-on Contraptions workshop
Nice job 👍
Thanks
very nice
wait, how did you get bunk beds?
From the Home Decor workshop
