Growing up we were really poor so having some meat in the borscht was a real treat atleast we were able to have the sour cream can't eat borsht without it. You are so lovely to watch. Your mama too. You have a winning personality and that’s the win here. To be clear, the whole sauté step doesn’t have to be so constantly stirred. When veggies have that much water, it won’t burn. Just keep it wet with oil and cook it low and slow. Less effort and easily done. Ukrainian culture is awesome and we love and support your nation, its people and its culture.
