We live or I live here in Alice Texas Cowboy country Wells County Tex.. but I listen to Ilocano and Tagalog since our friends always and even in the country bar play Country song none other.when your at the gas station the trucks such f150, f250, 2500 hd, etc mostly played country music so it gets old since we are in country side and Cowboy country... But I'm glad the uplands listen to a Cowboy music. cheer 🍻 from TEXAS
I'm a Country song lover at young age. Buck Owen's, Patti Page, Loretta Lyn, John Denver,Johnnie Cash, Willie Nelson and etc...their songs specifically tells about their lifestyle. Life stories, love stories and about struggles and faith and etc. I can relate to it because their lifestyle just depicts our lives in the country side.

Thanks for sharing. Apparently, Baguio has cold climate so Americans prefer to stay in our place. That's why we got Camp John Hay. They even went to the Mt Province .
In 1990, the country duo America performed in Camp John Hay. Going to that concert was one of my most memorable musical experience. It was performed in the open bandstand, Igorots made up of 90% of the audience. Both Gerry Beckley and Dewey Bunnell performed very, very well. I next saw them perform live, older but still rocking it in 2014. Their songs are classic. Thank you, Freddy, for this informative video. Very good interview with the Professor. Kudos to both of you! Although I love heavy metal and Alternative music but I grow up listening to Merle Haggard(which is my favorite) , Don Williams, Chris Kristofferson, Glen Campbell, Willie Nelson, Alabama, etc I also listen to local country singers like Joel Tingbaoen, , Elmer and Lourdes, Brian Alipin, I remember also these dangerous place like Diamond Inn or DI for short and Lafayette in Wild West me and my friends are a regular customer but in Wild west time most song they covers are from Garth Brooks, Alan Jackson, Paul Brandt, BlackHawk and other country singers from late 80's and 90's.. I remember also 168 in abanao but I am still minor at that time we are not allowed ha ha ha.. those are good memories during my younger days...😀😀😀
