"whole milk is pi milk" that's true for milk from cartons labelled 'whole milk' - I want to do the calculations for cow milk - as in, how it comes from the cow, not from 'BIG MILK'. So I'll find some cows, average their annual milk fat content and do that calculation for each until I find pi milk :)
I learned Pi was 3.14159265 before I knew what Pi even was because of Night at the Museum 2 and I thought the Einstein bobble head was funny AF. I was 8 years old… 8 plus 9 equals 17 which is the age I lost it so I guess it offset 😭😭
Science teacher here, you math people look at math just to crunch numbers, but we use the numbers to provide context and explanations. So, 2% or 3.25% (which is the percentage in whole milk), refers to the percentage of fat, by weight, in the food, in this case milk. If there are 5g of fat in 1 cup (250 ml, which also happens to be 250g) of 2% milk, well 5/250=0.02=2%. You're welcome.
Thanks for making me feel a little inadequate; like maybe I should go back to school and this time not pretend I’m John Blushi in “Animal House” ..To bad there’s no safe zones in North Idaho 😮 guess I’ll just have to eat pi. 😢
Here in South Africa, food products have to display the *Total Fat* contained per 100ml (liquids) or 100g (solids) on the packaging. The 'Full Cream Milk' (US -> Whole Milk) product we use at home contains 3.7ml Total Fat per 100ml (3.7%) Point being that the US's *Whole Milk* isn't actually that Whole.. 🤦🏻♂️😆🤣 The Dairy Industry there seems to be *skimming* a little off the top... 🫠🫥
Just be glad whole milk is only 3.14% fat because... "a 35% - 50% fat concentration is common among many species of whale as the higher fat percentage allows the whale’s milk to travel through the water without breaking up. The thick milk is often referred to as having a TOOTHPASTE-like consistency."

When you do the math and you get π, that's not a coincidence - that's a DISCOVERY.
Love the new material, love your ability to take new directions. Sending love, thanks for the laughs.

Insane because I also know 10 digits of Pi and the formula is literally accurate 😭
