I enjoyed the video, thanks. I love that kind of roads thru the mountains, despite the fact, that my littler 125cc doesn't have much power for steeper slopes. But if I ride similar roads in Germany, I instantly calm down and feel a lot of happiness.
But I have one question about the shifting sounds. I noticed that first time at 22:54 and repeatedly at 23:35 till the end. Came that sounds from the clutch, the engine or the gearbox? It sound a bit like the "Transformers" movie, when the Autobots transform. 😀

Hi, yeah sometimes it’s not about speed but rather the harmony and rhythm of the ride that brings out the right emotions. The shifting sounds comes from the gearbox. They are quite ‘clunky’ on these K1600s. It has been like that since they were introduced in 2011. It is possible though to shift quiet and smooth but you have to be very sensitive and time it right or use the quick shifter. I’ve just gotten used to it the way it is. 🤷🏻‍♂️😬 thanks for watching! 👍🏻

By the way, I rode through Germany 🇩🇪 yesterday and today just hurrying through on the autobahn. Absolutely hate the autobahn but when returning north I’ll take my time on the smaller roads. Love those smaller roads through the countryside and all the small villages. ❤️

@@MotorcycleCameraDrone I totally understand your feelings. As I was driving the first time on the Autobahn, i was really frightened. There's so much more hard wind, often unexpected. If you drive at a time with high traffic, you need to be very carefully. There are a lot of impatient and inattentive car drivers. Sometimes they cutting you, sometimes they do not see you. I felt the most bad, as I got overtaken by an impatient truck driver. The windroller, produced by the overtaking truck....I thought, he pushes me off the road. Meanwhile I get used to drive on the Autobahn, but I also prefer to ride on smaller roads. It is less stress.
If you get the opportunity, try a ride on the Autobahn on Sunday morning. Then the road is empty an you can much more enjoy it. You can see it here, it was recorded on a sunday morning. th-cam.com/video/gERfQ40GJKc/w-d-xo.htmlsi=bUidmSOc31_qeLUy
      But please don't laugh, it's a 125cc, nothing to compare to a 1600cc motor cycle. 😂😂
There are a lot of nice roads thru the smal, old villages. I could recommend Thuringia, with its old half-timbered houses. You can see it here: th-cam.com/video/6adQyL4RWvY/w-d-xo.html

Thank you for the recommendations! I will definitely check out more of those smaller villages next time I travel through Germany. I had a look at your videos as well! Very nice! You now have a new subscriber! :)
