Jay’s pretty lucky that it was Chris who bought it too. I can almost guarantee that it would have been sold the very next day considering how complete it was. I knew Jay’s cheapness was something of legend but this was an instance that it got the best of him and he should bit the bullet on it. I think Chris said it best: “IT’S HALF OFF!!!”

Congrats on number 50. What an epic second half to this episode! It's a cautionary tale about the risks of waiting too long or being too cheap; more often than not, leaving an item behind too many times will eventually lead to someone buying it out from under you. In this case (as Chris pointed out in the video), I would've bought the whole thing and sold the SCD/Genesis to recoup some of the money.

This is one of the best episodes of Game Chaser seeing Jay & Chris go back and fourth over that Sega case is so entertaining! Jay wants that case so bad! To be honest I wanted Jay to wind up with the case because I know how much he played the Sega growing up so I know he has mad nostalgia for it but I wanted to see him squirm for a bit first
Unfortunately, that’s Jay’s biggest flaw. His cheapness got the best of him and he slipped on it. Anyone other than Chris and that thing would have sold to someone else that very day

What a crazy episode , a killer deal on a saturn with high risk of it not working. But those accessories that came with it were really nice. And then what will now be known as the "Rental Sega CD incident" happened.

That guy with the expensive games, it was kind of weird that every NES game was in perfect condition, really stood out as them probably being reproduction carts..
Buying what things are worth is what keeps the shops up. Not the mentality of waiting months for the prices to get even lower. That`s cold man, cold. ;)
That thing was sitting there for months. If no one bought it then it wasn't worth what they were originally charging. By that logic I can make our DVD's 200 bucks each then blame the people who dont buy them as why we aren't making money.

Seeing Jay squirm for that Sega Genesis/CD case is a moment in Game Chasing history that needs to be preserved just like all these old video games because it's not very often if at all we will see it again.

I have to say thanks guys, I've watched every episode in the past 3 days. I recently had my nes collection stolen and it's hard to go out to find anything since I've started going blind in 2013. So I love watching you guys go out and doing what I used to love doing, it's really helped with my depression so I can't wait for the next episode.

On my old channel, I reviewed Chuck Norris Superkick's, thanks to emulation, and it was the 2600 version, it's pretty interesting. Might have to do a review of either the 2600 or Colecovision version in the future lol. Nice to see you guys talk about the Apple II. When I was in grade school, I think it was Kindergarten to 2nd grade, we had Apple II PC's in the computer class. Then later on it was macintosh PC's, etc. I don't know of any stores exactly like that around my area, but local game stores are here and there, and I will always support them before I support a GameStop, can't stand Gamestop anyways lol.
