Terry - Coverage was fantastic. I live about 18 miles and play this course often. Really enjoy watching the 'Big Boys' play our local course and see the same frustrations - and joys. That tree! That was SO close. #706
We love this course. We drive for half an hour to get to play here and we never regret it. Mason County doesn't have much but it does have Shelton Springs DG!! Now we need a couple of hotels to attract more tourists and spectators. You will hit trees ! Just go with it and enjoy the scenery. Thanks for showing off our course, Terry. We love your coverage. My girlfriend says "To heck with the pros, I want your autograph, Terry!"
Every time I start feeling good about my game, I play Shelton Springs. It ain't your bomber golf course, you've gotta be patient and take your medicine. Seeing players shred this and shoot double digits under astounds me. I hope players appreciate the course. It's easy to relate to frustration here -certainly tests mental toughness!
That's pretty kind of you. I'll take it:) Also - makes you eligible for a random give away that I offer up on almost every video I put out. Keep those fingers crossed.
Thanks for the coverage, Terry. Shelton is one of my local courses, and it's every bit as sweet as people here are saying. It's made for every player, with the 3 separate tee pads. If you like this course, the Evergreen College course 25 minutes down the road is an under-the-radar gem, too. It would be a crime not to play it if in the area.
Great coverage - fun looking course. Alden is excellent - just the right amount of extra helpful comments to add to Terry's work - just great. This seems like a course that would still be fun for players like me (840 rated) - not too long but you are rewarded for accuracy, but still gives the pros trouble. I also feel that this particular card might have done better if they had retained a bit more composure throughout - you are going to hit trees on a course like this so there is no point getting upset and stroppy about it.
shelton washington is a really cool part of the world.. i cant wait to go back went there a few times as a kid, the sunsets and summers are really great in august, july, early september.. unfortunately in oregon and washington it rains well into june summer starts around mid to late june normally.. but the dgpt decides things
Thanks terry for all you do for the sport. I would have have been just as confused by that question as aldean early on. And I wish he would have taken some parting shots at the end 😅
Thanks for the coverage & enjoyed Alden in the booth, unsurprising since he's a vlog legend. Also, if you ask Team Ace Run Pro who have filmed the Robinson Bros in more A Tiers than anyone, the Robinsons were born with horseshoes up their butts. Robinson luck is a known thing in the south.
Ask Alden if he ever recorded a ambient sleep track, including voice track, just to mess with a friend? Important questions, I just imagine our humor is similar.
I mean, "freak out" is probably a subjective term to start with and I think it is very situational. Is it something that person frequently does? Is there a pattern? How loud or disruptive is said "freak out"? Do they internalize their responses pretty well or is it boisterous. Plenty of things to consider when making note of it in commentary - at least for me anyway.
When you show everyone's scores at the end can you start showing all the scores please as I would like to see who is playing and how they are doing if they are not on the top. Thank you and thanks for the coverage
Not right now. Currently my graphics are pretty manually done so it's a pain to sometimes just type out the top 8 (as it is now). If I get to a point where things are more automated then you might see some scores. There is a link in the description of each video as to where you can find the full scores. Not sure I want to draw things out longer on the video by showing you who is in 82nd place (for instance).
I don’t think I’ve ever seen a well thrown tee shot after somebody put down a hand towel on the tee. Seems like they’re always thinking about it while they throw their shot.
It's been a pretty common practice for a couple of decades actually. Just depends on the moisture or rain and then how the tee pads react accordingly. A pretty great move if you don't over-think it.
I don't believe that to be the case. IF it was, it didn't come from the booth meaning Alden nor I. However, I'd in fact place a bet of 10 discs that it was instead an accidental touch of the camera / mic on the course which makes that rubbing or brush up against noise.
I know he didn’t have a good round, but Jesus…this Scott dude seems like a real drag. I’d be rolling my eyes nonstop with somebody that negative on the card.
To be fair ... I was in the midst of a pretty mental intense day (and will be all weekend) so I'm guessing that I wasn't nearly as coherent as I should have been. I get that way :)
I’ll be that guy - texting someone and getting an advantage on how to play a hole during the round should absolutely be illegal. Great coverage as usual.
I really doesn't matter how someone else plays a basket. Conditions change, and you still have to execute. It is not much different from seeing how someone else on your own card plays it.😊
Man, Scott has so many wins and is such a high rated player in the PNW but always seems to underperform when other big dogs are in town. I don’t know his stats but I don’t think the tour events suit him for some reason
Thanks as always Terry! Alden is 🔥 in the booth!

Alden is awesome. His disc golf channel is the funniest there is.

Take the line up like normal and turn it a bit if you’re hitting trees

2:42 Goose feeling it from deep!
5:00 a textbook Goose call, haha the exclamation after the skip out…
30:15 Ezra solid escape with a forehand roller!
30:50 Aaron giving himself a spankin
Alden’s doing a great job. Hopefully we get to hear him all weekend??
If the timing all checks out, that just might be the plan. He was great!
Love the Mark shoutout! He is a pillar in the local Disc Golf scene and just an all round great person.
Yeah - such a great guy and I got to see the course with him and later have a beer and catch up. Love it.
Commentary is 🔥 alden is doing a great job!!
Thanks Terry and Alden
Alden 🎉 letssss goooo
Thanks for the video TDog! Thanks for stepping in to the booth Alden!
Alden, you are doing great! I love how you analyze the game and what would work to throw. Both disc to use and strategy. Good job, you aced it! :)
Alden is great on commentary👍🏻🔥
Good job Alden, appreciate the coverage!
Always love Terry. Cool to listen to Alden for the first time. Good job boys!
Alden did great in the commentary! Really fun to have people like this who want to do it!
Watching on TV got on phone for algo comment. Thank you Terry and Alden, who is great on here.
That's pretty kind of you. I'll take it:)

Very good Alden. Hope to hear you more.
Viano Makela. That was new.
Mayhaps Väinö's alter ego?
Alden is great! Interesting mention of the ferns/brush being the inverse of a low ceiling. Local here so I'm used to it and forget it's a bit unique.
Great Job Alden!
The Original and still the Best! Thanks, Terry.
Alden killed it. Great commentator. Hard course!! Peace!
The Birds are always chirping at Shelton Springs! It's such a peaceful thing to listen to while playing this course!!
Gossage hitting that putt on 10 from the hazard and turning to pick up his bag before it even goes in is the coldest move I’ve seen in a long time
Alden is a natural in the booth. Also appreciated the quality editing.
Thanks for the coverage Terry
Any time!
Awesome coverage, great job.
Great debut, Alden!
Love Alden!
26:25 is quite possibly the most relatable disc golf moment I’ve seen in my life. Felt like a personal attack.
Great job Alden. You could not tell this was your first time commentating. TY for the coverage.
Thanks for the coverage. Alden solid job on commentary.
Vey easy going but informative and succinct commentary from Alden.
Alden is a natural. Nice work
Very fun course to watch!

Loving the Alden addition. Terry might have found his huckleberry!
Alden is doing a great job in the booth!
Great job.
Aldens the man!

Great job Alden! Most we've
heard you speak than your last 10 uploads combined.😊
Just gettin' him to bust outta that shell! Love it.
Let’s Go Aaron
Thanks terry for all you do for the sport. I would have have been just as confused by that question as aldean early on. And I wish he would have taken some parting shots at the end 😅
Alden is a natural. Definitely have him on again
commentary is 🔥excited for round 2 tomorrow!
It is loading to the TH-cams as we speak. Should release early morning again!
Noice Alden great job!
Thanks for the coverage. Cheers! 🍻
I love Aaron! He is so funny!
Alden 🔥🤘
Alden commentary on point!
Terry, you're a gentleman and a scholar. From your shoes to your collar.
I wouldn't go that far ... but I'm glad you like the coverage :)
Love the woods. I'm from barsby's home course. We were bummed he didn't show after OTB. Love taking his cash!!!
Hole 10 is my only Eagle, ever. Roller out to the "road" and nailed it with a Innova Wedge.
I don't believe Alden didn't comment before. Job well done!

Terry is the man 💪
Alden seems like the nicest person ever.
He's pretty swell.
Alden- what kind of headbands do you wear?
Aldin killed it.
great job commentating Alden...Terry's job might be in jeopardy in a couple of years?? Lol's
I ain't holding anyone back ;)
People can take all the work off my plate as far as I'm concerned. Haha
@@thediscgolfguy :) Well, Terry...I'm getting tired of mopping floors and washing windows everyday...I can talk real good to sometimes Lol's
Alden belongs on the mic. Great commentary voice🤝
bring alden back, love the guy
Gotta love robins
What does the (E) to the left of the player's name? Thanks for the great work as always!
That is their score ... they all started the round at EVEN hence (E)
Ask Alden if he ever recorded a ambient sleep track, including voice track, just to mess with a friend?

I love watching players freak out and no one ever mentions it

I’ve done it plenty of times. It’s very helpful
Anyone else catch that fart @ 24:47?
I don't believe that to be the case.

@@M.Sellers-t5j I have no recollection, but i like your style.

Scott had to play the rest of 18 with his pants down after not getting past the short tee.
Glad that wasn't the case. I want my coverage to generally be at PG-13 :) I don't need any weird flags from TH-cam.
Aldin is doing great except for catching the unplanned toss for a question.
To be fair ... I was in the midst of a pretty mental intense day (and will be all weekend) so I'm guessing that I wasn't nearly as coherent as I should have been. I get that way :)
@@thediscgolfguy I think it was the experienced commentator who should have warned you, not your fault.
