Thank you - it was kind of a big deal back at The Memorial when it happened. I appreciate all of the love and support I've gotten over the past 14 years of being on this platform. It's not the biggest nor the best disc golf channel by any means but it's been a fun passion project of mine for over a decade and when I'm not doing live disc golf, or running events or selling discs or designing courses, I hope to put out some content that people still seem to enjoy. Thanks again everyone!
Broke the golden rule in commentating though. Never "No and" your improv partner. Not my favorite commentators, but definitely worth giving him some chances. Gannon is one of my favorites.
Alden razing Ezra during commentary while he's literally sitting behind him in their AirBnB/hotel is the chef's kiss. Probably get a clip of Ezra's reaction in the next Alden YT video!
Played with Matt bloom a few times at Fairfield course in roundlake, IL and Warren park in gurnee, IL. Pretty cool to see him on here. Super cool dude n wish him the best.
i think Niklas has very unique putting style(s). Inside the circle, he has a low spin pitch putt, and from longer ranges an aggressive spin putt. On his spin putt, it seems he does a little pump with his hand to get his wrist loosened up, helping with getting more spin
Which putting style of Niklas we talkin' about, he seems to have a couple styles based on distance and footing. Sometimes he does a little Isaac Robinson slinging it from the hip, but I see a lot of Calvin (especially the putt on 9) where he keeps his lower body extremely still and generates all his power from levering up his arm with a little wrist pop on release, he does this both from straddle & staggered stance.
I sometimes think a funky putting day can be fairly blamed on a bad night of sleep or a rough road journey. We've all gone through it. We know it's out of the norm, but what can be done? It happens
my goal has always been once i figured out my best form "i did" is to be able to get the same flight in the head winds as i do for tailwinds and i basically have done that.. only shot i dont have for headwind is one that can go over 450ft in the tailwind i can hit 600ft give or take 20ft
i dont think i can compare Niklas putt to anybody else. The thing that makes it unique to me is his little bounce in his arm/wrist before he starts his stroke
To be fair ... I did reach out to Goose at one point but with him staying nearly an hour away from me for this event it was too much driving to get him to help with commentary each night especially when we don't get started until 10;30 or 11. Alden has both been great on the mic and clutch in general for wanting to give it a go!
How come nobody is talking about Miller finally hitting 100,000k subscribers!!!🎉
We all appreciate your passion Terry

Omg Alden saying “maybe let’s just move on….” Classic

I got a good belly laugh outta that 😆
"I'm not sure that putt was good on any basket." Love this sort of casual coverage from Terry and a guest, and Alden has been outstanding!
Just came here to say that I am grateful for the coverage from these smaller events. Thanks @thediscgolfguy!
Thanks for coming along for the ride. Some stellar star power at this event and thanks to Jeff Korns and crew for giving us a chance to cover it.

Alden has been amazing on commentary! The first round and a half have been great!
Played with Matt bloom a few times at Fairfield course in roundlake, IL and Warren park in gurnee, IL. Pretty cool to see him on here. Super cool dude n wish him the best.
The shoes match Terry… Alden was trying to tell you they are multi colored & both are orange on one side and pink on the other. 😂😅
Thanks for the coverage Terry. This course looks fun. Alden is doing a great job with the color commentary!
Great coverage. Awesome job Alden.
Great commentary guys and its epic to see Alden! Sorry if I am not spelling it correctly!
Really fantastic commentary duo! I feel like we are blessed with so many pro disc golfers being great commentators, also.
For sure living Alden in the booth. Great voice, good speaker.

Alden is doing a fantastic job as an announcer.
great coverage terry! Alden continues to kill it in the booth
I'm digging the commentary. It's giving me ESPN the ocho vibes. Also, Alden busting the chops of a good friend on coverage is quality content.
Some pretty great disc golf going on here. Thanks for the great coverage!
Thank you
Excited to see carter on the card, been a while since hes been on coverage. Aswell as the others, thanks for coverage.
I really like how they have trimmed the bushes short on many holes; it is a great way of providing challenge!
Thank you!

His angles and overall form remind me of David Feldberg, but he adds that strong wrist on top of that.
excellent!
Niklas putt is great from close range. It just feels impossible for him to miss. I’ve tried copying it but alas I am not as awesome as him.
Thanks for the fix this weekend Terry.
What can I say?
I fill holes.
Thank you as always Terry. The goat of dg media
You always do a great job with these videos. Thank you. Hope to see ya again at the BSF in Milo.
Whatup Terry! The hardest working man in Disc Golf (except maybe Uli)! Salutations from MN!

Ezra's spin put in the wind on 2 was amazing!
Elias Luukkonen comes to mind as a putter similar to Niklas. I think I recall Noah M. having a somewhat similar stroke as well?
Will Shusterick
i dropped this toss on this one, i have no idea who else might put like Niklas.

What disc did Nikki’s throw at 13:20?
Absolutely amazing shape
It's an MD3 I think. You can see it in his 2023 in the bag video.
Eagle McMahon Colour Glow C-line MD3 would be my guess. A sought after piece of plastic
That's his really beat up MD3
I think that Niklas putts close range kind of like Evan Scott with that cool pendulum putt.
Niklas' putting (low with power) definitely reminds me of aarons put
Jeffery promotes Resistance Discs to the Maximum. Yet when you ever head over to the local store in Eugene Oregon, it’s always CLOSED!
I would say that Catrina Allen actually has a kinda similar putt to Niklas.
Low release lots power, nose super down.
Definitely cousins, not siblings.
Sad you guys showed up during our 3 week gloomy spell. Hopefully next year the tour will be blessed with some PNW sun shine and calm winds.
Niklas, putt kind of reminds me of Emerson Keith’s putt in a way🎉!
You re right, as they use a powergrip
Matt challenging Aderhold for the biggest legs in discgolf
Question. Who does Niklas Anttila have a putting stroke like? The Disc Golf Guy. 🤔
Well… Niklas put has even own name ”Nikke nosto” tm so yeah… it is quite unique… 😂
i dont think i can compare Niklas putt to anybody else. The thing that makes it unique to me is his little bounce in his arm/wrist before he starts his stroke
I’d love to hear Goose in the booth again
I'm sure at some point, I'll get him back in. It often just comes down to logistics each weekend when I'm on the road doing post-production at events.
Matt has never skipped leg day in his life
I need to get on his plan.
What's Matt blooms yt channel?
Good to see local on the card not just pro tour players and bagging to get they're ratings up lol 😂
Id say Niklas's putt kinda looks like a Stokely push putt
My money is on Ezra if he and Alden had a wrestling match after this, lol!
Antilla putts like a slower Isaac Robinson
Niklas putt is kind of simular to Hjalmar Fredrickson in my opinion
When we talk sort putt of niklas i think dave felberg comes my mind. Who i compare...
Put Goose back in the booth!
To be fair ... I did reach out to Goose at one point but with him staying nearly an hour away from me for this event it was too much driving to get him to help with commentary each night especially when we don't get started until 10;30 or 11.
Alden has both been great on the mic and clutch in general for wanting to give it a go!
Niklas putts like Kristin, but he doesn't straddle putt
This whole global warming thing just won’t let up.
Huuhan metsä it is.👌🥏
