Agreed 100%
Know who else loves pulled eq’s? The loan Officer at the bank.
This guy is awesome
So the great question is where can we hear it?
F-A-N-T-A-S-T-I-C question! You will see 4 audio demos released top of next week.
Would be nice to see Manley do digital controllable and recallable gear at those prices
Adding a microprocessor and replacing all the Grayhill switches with relays, then probably also replacing the smooth pots with relay ladders, and while we're at it, replacing the old PSU with the newer MANLEY POWER SMPS module, you are not looking at a lower Bill of Materials, plus the tens and tens of thousands of dollars of R&D to redesign the whole unit, and calendar time, yeah, man, it will not be the same price or less.... not that I would not LOVE to do what you are asking for, even though it seems "simple" and "easy" it really requires a massive engineering effort that is not on our existing product road map. Not in this form exactly.... yet.
@@manleylabs I hear you and appreciate the response outlining all the moving parts
Guys, this is the kind of stuff I'm studying and I've got a PhD offer in engineering and psychology to study this. I just need the funding. Soon to be publishing some data on it, let me know if you want to work together!
Alright Casey Kasem..
*EMployed, rather than DEployed.
To employ is to "use," "utilize," "bring to bear," "put to use," etc. - e.g., "to employ a tactic," "employ one's skills, or knowledge," etc.
Deploy means to "send out into action" - e.g., "troops deployed to the Middle East," "Police were deployed to the scene," etc.
The presenter has fallen prey to one of the latest trending linguistic errors - whose prevalence has no doubt been amplified via the TH-cam Feedback Loop, wherein video-makers parrot and propagate each other's mistakes. But this particular error has even started cropping up in professional media (newspapers, major broadcasters, et al.).
It is well that we do all we can fight the spread of this and other speech errors, as dictionaries - as a matter of policy (anachronistic and irresponsible in this age of viral Internet) - will update definitions to reflect vernacular usage, setting up a slippery slope towards ultimate language debasement, driven by copycat vulgarians.
But you spelled Elvis Presley's name wrong!
He’s got bellbottom sleeves and 90s sunglasses.
He comes gruve'n up slowly, he got juju eye balls, he says on and one is three, he's got to be good looking because he is so hard to see, come together right now, over me. Thanks for posting, very entertaining.
