This is one of the only cases where I've seen people so insistent on using the "they're just friends" perspective for a straight (depends on Traveller you're playing as, but Aether is generally seen as the canon PC anyway) ship. It's certainly interesting, especially since the undertones seem pretty apparent, to me at least.

so far the clear hint of the "more than just a mere friend or companion" feeling showed from a playable character to traveler (Aether or Lumine) are (for Aether) Ayaka, Shenhe, Keqing, Kokomi, (and for Lumine) Xiao, Childe based on the story progress (things that happened when you play the story quest, the world quest or the event quest), and not the tea pot interaction though I'm a Noelle simp, I do like this ship too (and the Kokomi one is also cute, thou for now sadly she barely had an interaction with the traveler)

@@thisenable the dialogue is the same but the context is different. Gacha games tend to be designed like this, especially with 2 protagonist with different gender, so that each mc will get their different context even tho the dialogue is the same.
i would love to live in your state of delusion, because although these characters could have romantic feelings and some ships do work better for a certain mc it’s the same for both, if anything they have better interactions with ayaka-lumine xiao-aether etc; the twins are different but the characters you mentioned aren’t made to be for just one..

No kidding this event was, hands down, an AeYaka Haven for all Ayaka-lovers and Aether X Ayaka shippers. so far the clear hint of the "more than just a mere friend or companion" feeling showed from a playable character to traveler (Aether or Lumine) are (for Aether) Ayaka, Shenhe, Keqing, Kokomi, (and for Lumine) Xiao, Childe
based on the story progress (things that happened when you play the story quest, the world quest or the event quest), and not the tea pot interaction
though I'm a Noelle simp, I do like this ship too (and the Kokomi one is also cute, thou for now sadly she barely had an interaction with the traveler)
hi! genuine question, how are the characters for aether and lumine different if they get pretty identical dialogue? Is there something in game that makes the clear hint different per chosen traveler?
@@thisenable the dialogue is the same but the context is different. Gacha games tend to be designed like this, especially with 2 protagonist with different gender, so that each mc will get their different context even tho the dialogue is the same.
i would love to live in your state of delusion, because although these characters could have romantic feelings and some ships do work better for a certain mc it’s the same for both, if anything they have better interactions with ayaka-lumine xiao-aether etc; the twins are different but the characters you mentioned aren’t made to be for just one..

As an Ayaka main, and really loved Aether and Ayaka's interaction, I'm out here mad to myself for missing this event😭😭😭😭 And also, I'm so delulu, but this does really feel like Ayaka has a romantic feeling for the Traveler. I even consulted chatgpt 😂😂 I literally waste 8 hrs of my life to tell everything about Ayaka, her story, all of Ayaka's conversation with the traveler word by word, Ayaka's voice over(like the Kamisato Ayaka's Troubles: Desires) etc. And asked chatgpt. And the AI said that it implies that Ayaka has a romantic feelings for the Traveler xD
