You can make anubis by combining penking and bushi which also spawns at 23 as a boss or is also breedable with other chains. Then there's grizzbolt and relaxasaurus to make Orzerk which is one of the coolest electric types. You also have lyleen for agriculture in your base which is a must as the best planting pal to do all your wheat and other farming stuff. There are also underrated builds using teams like verdash / warsect ( another good choice for a second video ) with bristla stacks that boost grass type pals to make your main dealer BUSTED. Warsect also can benefit from either buffer ( grass or earth ) making it very versatile and has moves that are insanely spammable with very little downtime and a great combat ability. Imo he is up there for the combat side plus he is a tanky SOP ( son of a pal ) . I feel like mounts like faleris don't count because you can't access the mount effect due to level gating. I instead would say an alternative as a solid pal early on would be vanwyrm as like a replacement for like a ' good early game pals ' type video. Also here's a website for breeding pairs that you can select any mon and see all available breeding pairs that make it genshinlab.com/palworld-breeding-combos-calculator/ , hope this helps with follow up vids.

Agreed on flying mounts. And Vanyrm was KOing pals at the sanctuary in 1-2 hits if we ambushed them at night, viable to the late game if you invested in it. Mine only had runner no other passive traits. I'm not sure about the IVs. It was 3 star level 45-50 when I did this. Level 50, when I pitted it against Jormuntide boss with a pack of lamballs that were free loading for xp 😜 I wanted to see thir max before breeding them, so yeah. Carried that fight with a type disadvantage
You could consider looking at pals you can get early to mid game that can become heavy hitters if you upgrade.... mounts being my strong preference for combat pals.
I'm even starting to quite like the Mossanda and Mossanda lux thier floaty jump can be useful and I did manage to get level 47 boss Anubis twice now with him.
Almost all base pals are level 1 hatched from eggs. A few are level 4-5 from having worked a bit. Yup fresh hatches from my egg run... I have a few pals level 26-30. Only 2 at level 30 out of all. Just tried mining for coal close to him with a base as a future investment.... I was part way through walling off and he took a stroll right on in and caused havoc.
Mossanda's stun lock from the missle launcher was soooo useful. Hard to do damage if your ragdolling on the floor now eh?
Beat him twice like that before finishing my wall. Hopefully all is quiet now! At least until I take the wall down... but I don't plan to do that until they are max level.... then maybe I'll have a soul farm too... when he takes a stroll in my direction....
Guess this is what I get for challenging myself to rescues and eggs + bosses. Took me so long to get a lamball to work the ranch.

IDK if they made changes but I have never seen Grizzbolt on the sanctuary I have never seen him period.
Fighting on mounts is stupid early on. You want to put almost all your skill points into weight so you can carry more. capture a ton of cativa's until you find one with 2 legendary skills that have to do with fighting and then use that as your DPS. Hit something with an arrow and back off and your pal will kill everything. You can easily defeat Penking and Bushi with Cativa around lvl 27 and then breed them (assuming you got a male and a female) to get a few Anubis. Anubis is like a cheat its so good. Also Penking respawns every hour (in game time) and is +2 in multiple skills. Its a great idea to farm it and try to capture a bunch of them. Also make sure you change the server settings to increase the spawn rate of pals. Makes the game a lot more fun and challenging as this can cause multiples of the same boss to spawn.
