    I think it would be really helpful to include statistics along with your safeguarding training which is OFTEN mis-used/ over-relied upon by the state, and we know that because the police and subsequent court cases where evidence is required or at the very least some kind of balance of probabilities is required, doesn't follow up to what has been alleged by the state. The majority of cases children are removed under the 'potential risk of emotional or physical harm in the future' theory..... I personally know a teacher who made a referral for safeguarding because the child was chewing their top a lot so she claimed the child was being starved. Safeguarding requires no due diligence or critical thinking skills, that much is clear.
