When I'm pushing touch in my dozer I angle the blade back an forth to get it moving an you can push more then ur supposed to instead of making another pass. I'm so happy to be in a dozer now. Went from shovel to skid steer to dozer.

Depending on where you are , tractors are not allowed on crush gravel .. The track pads are said to brake down the crush in smaller pieces... A grader would do a better job and a lot faster..
Where the heck do you live? I have never heard of that! A dozer is almost always used to push out and rough in a gravel base! Graders usually come along once the gravel base is roughed in with a finish dozer with a PAT blade and give the final grade just prior to Paving. A wheeled motor grade would struggle pushing out that much stone

My english isnt best,but maybe you understand my opinion.I think that a grader wont be able push such tall gravel pile,and also tyres put a higher pressure on roadbed,since tracked machine can run over and pressure distribution on ground is less,and do not affect the roadbed at all as tyres does,and the life of road could go longer since all layers are perfect density under bitumen,same effect as first lane,because of too heavy trucks the lane isnt perfect smooth...Sorry,english isnt my native language.

Old cat operator should quit lifting and lowering the blade and use the float and the use of a grader would be faster and smother time equals profit.

Poor little Komatsu the least you need there is a d61 that poor komatsu is crying in pain.
I disagree this machine is a grading King! This dozer is also equipped with a 80hp 6 cylinder engine, i have a 98 modle with a 12ft blade and it hoggs dirt doesnt bog, I like it better than the same weight class cat all day, lgp diamond pads are awsome too can basically work in a swamp and not sink out of sight and get stuck, this is one bad if not the baddest dozer in this size class ever built
