so i’m trying to create a dungeon speedrun build as i think this will become the new things players will wanna see, and i stumbled upon this mod preemptive strike. I think this combined with the transcendent mod venom synthesis, and brisk walking on a weapon can create a freyna dungeon speedrun build of 40% movement speed, and having your toxic footsteps doing so much damage that it can kill on first proc. brisk walk gives 10% move speed , the transcendent mod gives 30%, the python with be able to kill elite enemies quick, and then you will switch to a dungeon boss build at the end. I think freyna, bunny, and Viessa will become best dungeon speedrunners, since they all have movement speed increase built in, and they all have an element that matches up good against a certain tileset as of now.
I think they announced that they don't want to let people switch their build mid dungeon with the last patch, so the speed build needs to handle the boss as well.
so let me do some explaining on affixes so you know why the colossus damage is better. First off when it comes to outputting the absolute most dps, for most unique weapon characters skill crit damage and faction damage bonuses are the highest. Quick math explanation is the tech skill boost even if gold let’s say it gives 0.08 boost. plug into equation (base skill reactor power times boost percentage)- base reactor power. (11724x1.08)-11724 is 937, which is how much skill power boost you are getting from those tech and fire skill rolls if it is .08. The damage to factions scale way higher which is why even a blue is outperforming those gold rolls. A gold colossus attack affix is 2600+, which is equivalent to a 0.22-0.23x boost, that’s why the damage seems so different, faction damage is better than both combined at gold. And crit damage, well crit values are higher, we will say gold crit damage affix of 32%. freyna has a crit multiplier base of 1.3. do the same type of equation (base crit multiplier times crit modifier increase) -base crit multiplier (1.3x1.32)-1.3=0.416, which means your crits are hitting 41% harder. the game did this so to farm “god rolls” technically you would need 1 of each faction since the faction mods are so much better, but i would say crit damage for most characters is a must on a god roll, (other characters like lepic and viessa have higher base crit multiplier), and the second one is subjective to content, but for colossus killing it will almost always be crit damage and colossus damage
@@andresnguyen8494you can only have so many mods that increase your skills power, so what do you use these extra slots for? Crit, assuming you want the most damage possible and not survivability. The same idea applies to the reactors rolls, you could get 8% more damage scaling off your reactor power or you get a % increase of a multiplier of your damage. So after all your damage is calculated your crit is then calculated and you can think of a combination of crit chance and crit damage as a multiplier of your damage (your dps). Tldr: yes freyna has a low crit chance but her crit damage scaling is going to increase her damage dealt more than a small increase in power.

I wanna add on calculating the total DPS increase from inc. crit dmg, taking into account the crit chance. Let's say you have 20% skill crit chance, then your actual dps increase is (0.2 * 0.431=0.086) 8.6%. This of course is affected by any other skill crit chance, which adds more value to the percentage value. It also is affected by any other skill crit damage, which lowers the percentage value of the increase. (I.e. if you have 2.0 crit damage in total with a base crit damage of 1.0, adding another 100% will result in 3.0, which effectively is a 50% increase of crits - again multiplied by your crit chance to calculate the real dps increase). Hope this wasn't too confusing, on mobile. just wanted to get the info out.
Take a trash general rounds gun and throw on extra ammo mod and convert special ammo to general rounds mod and you can get around 700 general rounds (I think, mine isn’t maxed yet) ammo for your python.
Great builds, gave me inspiration on my builds. The reason the Python reactor hit less is because you had your Fallen hope out for the free ammo. You only get the 160% when the weapon is in your hands, that means your active weapon while running around.
You did an excellent job choosing sockets to make all your builds work - very well done there. The only optimization ideas I have left are the crit mods and the defense mods. For defense mods, Spear and Shield should be better than Iron Defense. With the skill power modifiers you already have, all of the modifiers on your 4 skill will be over 100%, which is the break point for wanting skill power over a modifier. The break point for those two mods specifically is 156.8%, and the weapon damage and poison damage modifiers from the 4 skill are already well over that, so they'll definitely benefit more from the skill power boost on Spear and Shield. For the crit modules, the DPS boost from crits is considered the crit rate % times the crit damage %. The respective modules multiply into those directly, and since the whole thing is multiplicative, optimizing crit DPS happens when your crit rate and damage boosts are as close to each other as possible given X amount of total % you can boost. For example, if you can boost crit percentages by 100% total, you'll get the most damage increase out of 50% into rate and 50% into damage. Going off that, since you use 3 crit mods in your boss builds, the best ones to leave off are actually Emergency Measures or Front Lines. If you have a reactor or some other boost for damage, then you'd want to remove Emergency Measures, and if you had a boost for rate, then you'd remove Front Lines. For the mob build, you only run 2 crit modules, so it's best to run the blue ones for max DPS. You could argue that you kill things so quickly regardless of crit damage that you'd want to prioritize rate to have a better chance of getting crits on weak enemies, which is also fair. You can't go wrong either way, and they're all Almandine sockets, so you can mix and match as needed. Very good builds overall - looking forward to more!

use handgun and add the trick to pick up green ammo as regular ammo u will never run out just switch to the handgun to pick up the ammo i get 600 on reserve every time i pick up green ammo with a handgun. the trick chose a handgun with general rounds add this mods 1.Expand general magazine 2. general rounds compulsive 3. normal impact rounds refunding you use this weapon to pick up green ammo that converts it to general ammo

General round pistol w/ Expand Weapon Charge / Normal Impact Round Refining / General Rounds Compulsive. I just swap to it to pick up ammo and get to around 600 ammo for all general round weapons.

I have a life other than playing this game can't do 14hrs/day in order to farm the activator, Im not gonna waste on a descendant that after a year got replaced by new op seasonal best toxic descendant

His python reactor doesn’t have the colossus damage which is better scaling than the tech/toxic increase against those enemies so the tech/toxic on python feels better for mobbing because it has no wasted damage increase. Though I do believe with the fallen hopes unique passive it is the better mobbing weapon since it’s spreading more dots.
If you can get the contagion mod, that's pretty much all you need for mobbing. I love my Fallen hope and don't have a python yet, but it's passive just doesn't do anything for me honestly. The explosions are too small while contagion covers basically the whole screen and spreads her hard-hitting poison, including the one from her ult.
Is there a reason why the fallen hope reactor isn’t dropping for me? I keep getting toxic reactors for the python but not the fallen hope. I also don’t have the python yet
@@Potato96780 you can only run 1 Attack and 1 Battle module. The Maximize modules offer more damage than the Specialist ones, and since he's dying to reset cooldowns on purpose, the drawback doesn't matter

Not unless he has a Toxic roll on his sub stats. The gun does more damage to enemies that are poisoned, which you can do with your skills. Also the gun will make poisoned enemies explode and can poison other enemies around.
freyna's ultimate take over the mods of the weapon you are holding when you press the ultimate button. So he is running magazine size mods on his fallen hope weapon. There is a purple and a blue mod.
Whats the diference between running maximize skill+maximize power instead of running toxic specialist+tech specialist? Both gave around the same amount of +damage but the first combo debuffs your skill cooldown by 100% and the second one with specialist mods doesnt debuffs your CD 🤔
@@andresnguyen8494simple, for absolute most damage maximise is better and since you are resetting your cool-down by dying the skill cool-down increase doesn’t matter. For mobbing though you can’t just reset cool-downs by dying (or in group play) so the weaker damage is taken so you have lower more consistent cool-downs.
Personally I would choose freyna cos I just like her and the build itself more however if I did want straight dmg then ult gley especially because a new build was just made which can 1 shot hard mode bosses, she can do upto 41 million dmg I'm a single hit
@@davidkrause8374 the catalyst usually reduces the cost, not increases it. otherwise what would be the advantage of putting the socket type on that slot?
@@Jelfs90 that slot gives you capacity. It doesn't cost anything. Usually it gives you 10 capacity with a maxed mod, but if you catalyst it then it gives you 15. If your freyna has an energy activator then your highest capacity would be 85 if your lvl 40 and mastery 15. Sub slot works differently then other slots. Same goes for skill slot.
I am confused. I don't know much about Freyna. Her 4th skill is affected by equipped weapons? And if it is the case, how does the skill interact with the equipped weapon? The game does not say anything about that.
Bruh i feel like upgrading python as my first good weapon because all descendants could use it, but on freyna it just feels kinda eh, fallen hope was doing big damage numbers for me. But fallen hope is a niche weapon and really only works with freyna cause only she applies the toxic debuff. kind of conflicted tbh, a lot to grind for, so many options. It doesnt help that ive opened over like 200 patterns and 0 energy activator blueprints
On the Fallen Hope you can either roll a toxic atk onto the gun itself or use toxic enhancement to add it. The effect add percentage isn't great but the weapon can then proc its own poison to get the buff from. I have this (both) on my Fallen Hope for just this reason, then if i ever want/need a different element for a boss or whatever, i can swap the enhancement mod out.
Tbh man I don't think a python with no upgrades is worth. A one sec debuff that doesn't snap shot, you clip a lot of your 4 DMG?? Would be best for support to run python?
so here’s how to optimize the python. The python is like you said a good support, the most optimal way to use this buff would be to run 2 freynas in the content that requires teammates, such as obstructer, frost walker, and molten fortress. Both freynas run the weapon, one shoots to debuff, the other ults, that way their ult is benefitting from the debuff, then you switch places where the other shoots, then the other ults. The only way where it is good solo content is if you run a build centered around your 1 and 3, and possibly running contagion. contagion has a interaction where the enemies near the explosion get hit with a stronger dot then the initial, and it even does significant damage to the boss. This allows you to apply the debuff by shooting, while having a powerful dot go off, maximizing damage output. I highly doubt it goes up in duration with the ranks, rather more resistance shred.
@@Vaisukinit’s actually the best weak point dps general rounds weapon due it’s huge weak point multi. Also the duration supposedly increase when upgraded.

@@Zanthrax oh I wouldn’t worry about it too much then just get a tamer or focus on the thundercage and it’ll carry you through the story. The farming is an end game it’s not too bad once you know the farms and enzo makes parts of that easy mode but it’s still doable without him. It’s a lot of catalysts but this is an end game maxing out a character build, you’ll see the same for other descendants and weapons.
Not sure how a maxed character with all 12 enhanced slots and also the same for weapons will people playing the game not all are spending hundreds. Money is ruining games

I grinded all of it but honestly I don’t mind if you don’t believe that I’ve clocked over 200 hours grinding and have over 7 catalysts ready to craft… and only have 3 things with increased capacity and all for freyna I have stacked all in to one character. I also have a farming guide if you need help with how to do this.

@MxgicIQ It's believable I have 180hrs+ and have 6 catalyst on freyna and 5 on my tamer. I farm 2 catalyst a day and know the grind we'll. Once you find a process it's less painful. I did buy the battle pass though so far. Keep up the solid work. Love to see it.💪

honest question.. why do u prefer python mounted reactor for mobbing? wouldn't fallen hope be better for mobbing and python for bossing?
His python reactor doesn’t have the colossus damage which is better scaling than the tech/toxic increase against those enemies so the tech/toxic on python feels better for mobbing because it has no wasted damage increase.
Though I do believe with the fallen hopes unique passive it is the better mobbing weapon since it’s spreading more dots.
If you can get the contagion mod, that's pretty much all you need for mobbing. I love my Fallen hope and don't have a python yet, but it's passive just doesn't do anything for me honestly. The explosions are too small while contagion covers basically the whole screen and spreads her hard-hitting poison, including the one from her ult.
Is there a reason why the fallen hope reactor isn’t dropping for me? I keep getting toxic reactors for the python but not the fallen hope. I also don’t have the python yet

He's using maximize skill and maximize power instead of those two. the cooldown doesn't matter, and they're better flat dps wise
@@Potato96780 you can only run 1 Attack and 1 Battle module. The Maximize modules offer more damage than the Specialist ones, and since he's dying to reset cooldowns on purpose, the drawback doesn't matter

I have a buddy that told me running Toxic Gunbarrel on fallen Hope doesnt do anything cause the gun already applies the toxic. Is this true ?
Not unless he has a Toxic roll on his sub stats. The gun does more damage to enemies that are poisoned, which you can do with your skills. Also the gun will make poisoned enemies explode and can poison other enemies around.
How are you getting 80 rounds on the ultimate?
freyna's ultimate take over the mods of the weapon you are holding when you press the ultimate button. So he is running magazine size mods on his fallen hope weapon. There is a purple and a blue mod.

Whats the diference between running maximize skill+maximize power instead of running toxic specialist+tech specialist?
Both gave around the same amount of +damage but the first combo debuffs your skill cooldown by 100% and the second one with specialist mods doesnt debuffs your CD 🤔

@@andresnguyen8494simple, for absolute most damage maximise is better and since you are resetting your cool-down by dying the skill cool-down increase doesn’t matter.
For mobbing though you can’t just reset cool-downs by dying (or in group play) so the weaker damage is taken so you have lower more consistent cool-downs.
Scaling on skill power is the highest followed by skill power modifier. Tech and toxic both scale much lower. The maximise mods melt hard mode bosses.

Personally I would choose freyna cos I just like her and the build itself more however if I did want straight dmg then ult gley especially because a new build was just made which can 1 shot hard mode bosses, she can do upto 41 million dmg I'm a single hit

Why shortswords have 15 capacity cost? Im using shockpunch that have 10 capacity cost , and is also without socket... I'm confused😅

@@davidkrause8374 the catalyst usually reduces the cost, not increases it. otherwise what would be the advantage of putting the socket type on that slot?
@@Jelfs90 that slot gives you capacity. It doesn't cost anything. Usually it gives you 10 capacity with a maxed mod, but if you catalyst it then it gives you 15. If your freyna has an energy activator then your highest capacity would be 85 if your lvl 40 and mastery 15. Sub slot works differently then other slots. Same goes for skill slot.

Front Lines + Emergency Measures = 92 % Crit Rate and Crit Hit, 2 slots, purple.
Skill Concentration + Skill Insight = 115% Crit Rate and Crit Hit, 2 slots, blue.
Same Costs, even same socket type. Why use the purple ones?
Bruh i feel like upgrading python as my first good weapon because all descendants could use it, but on freyna it just feels kinda eh, fallen hope was doing big damage numbers for me. But fallen hope is a niche weapon and really only works with freyna cause only she applies the toxic debuff. kind of conflicted tbh, a lot to grind for, so many options. It doesnt help that ive opened over like 200 patterns and 0 energy activator blueprints
On the Fallen Hope you can either roll a toxic atk onto the gun itself or use toxic enhancement to add it. The effect add percentage isn't great but the weapon can then proc its own poison to get the buff from.
I have this (both) on my Fallen Hope for just this reason, then if i ever want/need a different element for a boss or whatever, i can swap the enhancement mod out.
Python is incredible for Freyna. You lower Toxin resistance, then switch to something else
Tbh man I don't think a python with no upgrades is worth. A one sec debuff that doesn't snap shot, you clip a lot of your 4 DMG?? Would be best for support to run python?
so here’s how to optimize the python. The python is like you said a good support, the most optimal way to use this buff would be to run 2 freynas in the content that requires teammates, such as obstructer, frost walker, and molten fortress. Both freynas run the weapon, one shoots to debuff, the other ults, that way their ult is benefitting from the debuff, then you switch places where the other shoots, then the other ults. The only way where it is good solo content is if you run a build centered around your 1 and 3, and possibly running contagion. contagion has a interaction where the enemies near the explosion get hit with a stronger dot then the initial, and it even does significant damage to the boss. This allows you to apply the debuff by shooting, while having a powerful dot go off, maximizing damage output. I highly doubt it goes up in duration with the ranks, rather more resistance shred.

@@Zanthrax oh I wouldn’t worry about it too much then just get a tamer or focus on the thundercage and it’ll carry you through the story.
The farming is an end game it’s not too bad once you know the farms and enzo makes parts of that easy mode but it’s still doable without him.
It’s a lot of catalysts but this is an end game maxing out a character build, you’ll see the same for other descendants and weapons.

I grinded all of it but honestly I don’t mind if you don’t believe that I’ve clocked over 200 hours grinding and have over 7 catalysts ready to craft… and only have 3 things with increased capacity and all for freyna I have stacked all in to one character. I also have a farming guide if you need help with how to do this.

@MxgicIQ It's believable I have 180hrs+ and have 6 catalyst on freyna and 5 on my tamer. I farm 2 catalyst a day and know the grind we'll. Once you find a process it's less painful. I did buy the battle pass though so far. Keep up the solid work. Love to see it.💪
@@futurekinggaming same i have around 200hrs and have farmed around 13 catalysts done minus the ones they give us. and Ive also farmed 2 energy activators plus the 2 they give us. If you invest heavily into JUST farming with a goal its easy to aquire this
