This reminded me of my childhood days. But i think instead of the garlic, asian chives gives it a better crunch and taste. My mom used to make this chutney when i was a kid. Minus the roasting of the soya chunks. She just boiled and shredded it and put in the chutney with chives. Will definitely try roasting it next time.
