The idea of more mountains and cliffs was really cool, i thought they talked about it in one of their scum videos. I hope they do, everything with the clothing changes are also really cool. Looks like it fits more and up to modern games like the last of us and that quick menu looked sick! Definitely a dope update.
@@OStateAce Beeing the best, while there is no competition isnt an achievement. It is the best, but not because its actual good, because the other ones suck even more. As long as they dont fix basic stuff like Z spawning ect. no freaking new gun or car will make the game better. they just used it like a tarp to hide the basic problems...
@@Bamberger25 it's in beta an 1,000 times better than FULL PUBLISHED GAMES like DayZ and all the other survival zombie games (has an amazing storyline if they focus on it more) I don't know any other survival games where you can kill someone an steal their bank card an go to the ATM an guess there pin an rob them 😂 maybe you just haven't played it enough to understand how insanely impressive it is. 😆 (The nutrition system alone is an absolute masterpiece). How you gain weight if you eat unhealthy foods an how your muscles visible get bigger when you do a lot of lifting. The games a masterpiece maybe you just haven't played in the correct server or for long enough yet.
@@OStateAce you missunderstood me. it is in many aspects an amazing game. But there is still too many bugs and problems to play it smooth. And to me the beta thing is nothing more than an excusse anymore, common after 6 yrs. the game should be far more staple. I got 511 hr. playing, i guess thats enough to get my own opinion of how it is, and how it should be. If you´re having fun playing it, its perfectly fine for me, but to me its more often frustrating than having fun.
I want more planes... sad. Joke aside, gun jamming can be both a game saver or a game ruiner. Saver if you're at the receiving end, can save your life by giving a window of escape. But ruiner if you're the one doing the shooting and the person escapes to fight another day lol.
i think it depends on how and when jamming occurs. if they make it that a non-handmade weapon that has like 90+% condition cannot jam, then i'm all for it. after going below 90% the lower the condition the more likely it is to jam would be pretty good i think (70-90% should still be very rare jamming). and of course for crafted aka makeshift weapons jamming should always be a possibility. then you can always control your fate... if you make sure your weapons are always in good shape then you have nothing to fear. if you dont have any weapon cleaning kits or repair parts you have to be prepared for your gun to malfunction
they need to put tower blocks in the 4 corners of the big city instead of the current layout cos that would allow for gangs to fight for control of the city or the 4 parts of it and makes the big city better as a whole instead of most if being nothing more than empty dead space
I would actually be very glad if they do the supersoldiers randomly kill for sure from time to time in POI. I can say that I'm not comfortable with dying to players or any NPCs. So maybe if I'm sure that death is like a 1/8 of certainty in a POI due to a spawn of a supersoldier, I think that maybe I'm gonna be a little more comfortable with dying. Cheers, Luthais! I dont care about nocs, I dont care about bikes and turrets. I dont care about anything untill major issues are fixed and proper survival mechanisms are added to an alleged SURVIVAL game. Add diseases and sicknesses first, finish the nutrition system(vitamins and minerals), fix the cooking bugs and make it a proper fleshed out system, and most importantly.... FIX the damned puppet spawn system. Then talk about adding layers on top. You dont add the cherry untill you have no cake
HEllo, I have Acer NITRO notebook with Nvidia RTX 4060 and I have huge FPS drops in SCUM, especially when driving fast with a car or a bike. Not in any other game, please, do you know how to get rid of it ?
Play in Direct X 11 not 12 or try both. Watch my stream and ask for my graphics settings to see what settings I use and just lower my Epic settings till you get the best results. Always update graphics drivers monthly
Why they don't just put an arrow where ur player is looking at the map ... I dont understand they should put an arrow which direction ur walking, we lost lot of players cause of that ....its sad
if there was an arrow on the map you wouldn't ever need a compass. as luthais said, just getting basic or medium survival skill for either just north or north/south/west/east directions when focussing should easily be enough to fully navigate the map.
If you can Luthais, please make it to where you CAN NOT build at all in the abandoned bunkers.. no wheelbarrows or chests it will force players to immerse themselves in a equal leveled playing field that applies to everyone in a fair manner for gameplay

Vehicles are a big part of the game, but the Game hardware for Steering Wheel/Pedals/Flight Stick control is not supported? This makes very little sense to me, as Steering Wheel/Flight Joystick/etc, would also be a Good 'Point of Sale' for players wanting to buy Scum game.
Grass looks better but the trees look worse, where are the distant field shadows now? And when will devs learn that trees don't sway in the wind, their branches do.
yes this is a big deal to me. I have a spare server chilling in my closet and id like to host a server for me and my friends with customizations to our style of play.
They should fix the bunkers and give us back the ones they broke. They've come up with so many logic games just to get into a bunker, it's crazy. They should remove that radioactive city because it takes up a lot of space and no one goes there anyway. And the exhaustion system is just annoying - you play for an hour, and then what, I have to lie somewhere on the map for another hour
regarding exhaustion i thought the same before.. but then i figured out cooking and what huge difference properly cooked food makes compared to just eating raw fruits/veggies, corn flakes and simple grilled meat/meat snacks
Need more guns & vehicles & melees & Steam workshop mod but I hate mechs/dropships because hard to find RPG in loots, I already turn off mechs/dropships & hate gun jamming need add option turn off/on, don't wan't ruined games/players. That's why the survival skill and compasses are so important but I get what your saying.
