Mt Wrightson ~ July 2021

We are back in Madera Canyon this year to train for another upcoming epic hike: the Grand Canyon!!!
Today’s hike was just to the Old Baldy Saddle, a 9 mile round trip with 3,300 feet of elevation gain. Nothing beats that first peek of the saddle after several intense switchbacks!!!
Thanks to all of the recent rain, today’s hike was through beautiful greenery with lots of different flowers! Another world from the desert that is only a few miles away.
