VIDEO DESCRIPTION:
Amanda and her husband designed this beautiful part-time tiny home for them and their three kids. You're welcomed with copper and wood tones that amplify the soft green accents throughout the main living space. The bathroom is spacious with dark earthy tones surrounding a gorgeous shower, toilet, washer/dryer combo, and unique mirror above the cabinets. There's a funky vintage fridge with a staircase used as secret storage for extra pantry items in the kitchen.
The kids have a fun spiral staircase leading to their room with toy bins, homework spots, and a comfy air mattress. The master loft holds a large bed with just enough room for relaxation and a great view. Downstairs is a custom couch that hosts more storage and can fold out into a spare bed. This sweet family loves their home away from home and plan on keeping it for many years to come!

Why are there sniping comments about their money? Good for them, they earned it and paid for it. Didn’t ask anything from anyone else. Glad they choose to spend their money on their family instead of drugs, liquor, gambling, etc. Anyone who likes something they see should be glad for whoever gets to enjoy it even if it is not ourselves
I'm glad a tiny home owner finally pointed out how hard it is to make the bed. In some of these videos I really wonder how they ever change the sheets!

It is by far the best I've seen.
I think the tiny home concept is a wonderful idea, but like everything else that becomes popular, they are becoming too expensive especially for seniors. I live in a 819 sq ft condo, 2b/1bt, on a 9 hole golf course in a 55 senior community. This condo is a perfect manageable size for a 82 year old senior. Life is so much easier. But, I think I would enjoy a tiny house. Your is really nice.
I'm leaning toward a Park model for my tiny. They're much more affordable than most of the custom ones, and I'm afraid I haven't the skills to build my own.
Where you are seems perfect. I like the idea of a tiny house until I start to think about not having a full size bath or not having full size washer/dryer and then on top of that, having to be crouched down in the loft spaces. To me, the limited comfortably useable space in tiny homes is quite a drawback.
Yep, way too commercial now...so much so.that the fun and humility is being taken away from the entire process/end result.
The tiny houses have always been too expensive..You have to have 100K to get started..and it only goes up from there…No need to buy this mouse trap when you’re end up paying Regular size house money…It’s all BS in the end…These tiny house don’t work in the end….

I really like the copper in the kitchen. It makes it look really homey and antique. And over time the patina in the copper will make it so unique. You have a really lovely home. 😄👍
That's the best stairway I've seen in ANY tiny house.
Beautiful house! The only thing that I would definitely change would be a Tempur pedic mattress for the 3 kids instead of a “blow up mattress”.
I would love to be there when it rains that hard or harder. Also, a good lightning storm would be awesome to watch from that spot as well. Love your tiny home.
Love this..I’m also in the process of building my weekend tiny house , I also bought a piece of property in the woods about an hour and half away from the city so we can go there every weekend and get away from the busy life... can’t wait 😊

Love that epoxy corner! So unique! I made my own table top for making my bread myself too from epoxy and thick plywood.
I really like the kids stairs. It's aesthetic & a little whimsical.
By far one of my favorite tiny home designs ever! You all outdid yourselves. I love the aesthetic and is close to what I am trying for in many parts of my own home. Love everything about your home especially the personal touches.

The bottle caps idea brings me back to my youth as that's something my sister and I used to collect, I don't know why.
We also used magnets to line them on a metal board but we didn't have access to small magnets so we made do with big ones, a few salvaged from speakers etc.
I totally forgot about that and they video brought me back those memories!

My top 3 favourite things about this house:
1) The outside cladding - I love the blue and the best part is the mixed wood section with bits stained blue!
2) The dog bed under the stairs.
3) The shower.
Overall great house, but the parents’ loft where you cannot even sit up in bed would never work for me at all.
Yeah whenever I see a loft where there is minimal headroom I think, they have a boring sex life. LOL

Love that counter and hope you don’t mind if we steal that idea about attaching magnets to our bottle caps and throwing them on the fridge.
Old fridges of that era are still running in some people's houses. You just have to replace the seals and the compressors every 40 years and they are still good to go.

Cool Place! The lily-pad stairs is a neat twist on a spiral type. Doesn't take up as much space. I like the stairs on an end wall too. Makes the whole house feel more open. I think the whole house is neeto.

It's great for family bonding-time. Sometimes you can get too busy in your day-to-day schedules that it's important to re-connect with each other while the kids are young. That time will pass too soon especially when the kids are growing up and start focusing on extracurricular activities and friends. So they should enjoy it while they can. 🙂🥰💕

Best tiny home I have seen! Absolutely amazing touches!!! We want one for a second home near fresh water fishing lake. Florida is too crowded and hoping to find a bit of paradise in TN or NC. I am a fan of retro appliances but would not do in our present home. I love the idea of it in second home or tiny home.

It’s pretty, I love copper too & I love the bathroom! Just a suggestion, you need a cpl area rugs in front of the sofa & in the kitchen, to warm up the space! Be sure to get the non slip rubber to place under the rugs & a few pieces of artwork around the walls also!👍🏻🦋✌🏼

I like how she gave the kids the loft with more ceiling height. Usually parents with tiny houses give their kids super small cramped spaces so seeing that they prioritized their kids is pretty cool. (as far as I’ve seen on yt, except the ones with one kid - they usually have a an even bigger space)
Right! It's also the same in bigger houses, I'm always surprised, how parents take the largest bedroom. Why? Why do they need so much space in it? They don't play, just sleep in there. And they even don't want to share bathroom...

some parents give them lots of cool spaces and one gave them a triple height place, but no space.. and weirdness... in a very expensive 400k design..
I can tell by the way she talks, she is from a rich and educated background. I admire rich people who are down to earth and still relatable. Of course, the tiny house is amazing as well.

love the design and I completely agree the shower is always a show stopper. it's a daily need so everyone can relate emotionally to a great shower - often discarded in homes for sale as bathroom afterthoughts. Our bedrooms should be tiny except that we need big beds and our bathrooms much larger - we use them all day.
