I saw (and photographed) Cory Marks opening for Halestorm back in 2021, and he blew me away with his energy and power from the stage. Adding all that together with the force of nature that's Eva Under Fire (who I finally saw last year with Nothing More) is a brilliant collab!

This is country music, and why i usually don't like listening to female rock bands. Most female artists in the rock genre don't rise to the occasion when it comes to sounding like they're in a metal or hard rock band. They usually sound like an opera singer, a pop artist, or like they're in ⁶a country band. Where Eva on Fire fits in for me is a country band, unfortunately. There are some standout female artists in the rock/metal genre that don't miss a beat, they have a gift and truly belong. I hate to be the negative Nancy here, but someone had to say what everyone else was already thinking! You're welcome! She does have a beautiful voice, but it's not metal at all, much less rock! My opinion is my opinion 🤷🏼♀️
Love this version of the song, but not a fan of that dress. Don't get me wrong, Amanda looks incredible. But one of the best parts of EUF's performances is her energy, and she can barely move in that thing.
