hi, just brought it yesterday, im using it as an audio interface, all settings are done in my DAW, I can record actually, but when i want to hear the playback, I cant hear anything. even my backingtracks. my output came from the output/headphone of the NUX MG300. Did I missed somthing?
OMG had another watch of this and picked up a super useful tip. thanks so much for informing about the master volume lock. whilst i'm not saving the volume lock, it's super useful that i can save the bootup master volume. as i'm connecting to my combo amps 'aux' port, normally the pedal would boot up at 50% volume and blow my ears off but with the master volume i can save it atleast so the bootup volume is more along lines of what i can tolerate, and i have less reliance on having to remember with my foot pedal on 0. awesome!
Hia Scott. So I switched the MODE to COMBO FRONT and then went into setting 1A, expecting to see the AMP block "bypassed", but it was still in the chain. I thought that FRONT setting would allow me to hear my own combo amp as God intended ;-) with just the stomp boxes in the chain.
can u help me? , my nux mg300 not finished the update, i closed the software when show the message but in my nux's display, keep updating and not shows succeced.
I would suggest trying to reinstall again but this time wait for the mg300 to complete the update. It takes a few seconds to complete after the application finishes.
Wow. nice video. Could I use the MG300 as just a pedal for recording in a DAW like Logic or Cubase? I would like to re-amp with the Guitar rig (Plug-in) also.

Hey Pedal Guy! 1A User is my first of 10 of performance patches. Problem is if I accidentally hit the left button, I am into 9D Factory and have to go through all of the Factory patches with the dial to get back to User, not to mention 9D is so loud it disrupts the show, Any ideas? I would like to disable all Factory patches when I’m playing live.
Hi. Well, that's a tough one as they are quite different. Cerberus is a multi FX that's based on analog & digital tech and no amps. The MG-300 is all digital modeling with fx and amps. There's also a big price difference between them
Is there any way to turn a selected effect on or off with the foot switch like you would a normal pedal. I find im jamming along and quickly want to tap off the drive or a delay and can't...
It seems the best way to do something like what you want (since you can't simply turn on and off a specific effect in the chain block with the footswitch in a given preset) is to copy the preset patch you're using and adjust or eliminate the effect that you want altered/removed, then save the altered effect patch in the location right next to the unaltered effected patch in use. That way all you have to do is hit the footswitch to move to the next patch/preset that has the effect off and back again to the previous patch/preset to turn it back on.
Too shame they abandoned updates for the MG300, which I think it's a huge mistake. It lead people suspect that the same will quickly happen to the newer MGs. Even the Mighty Plug Pro has greater flexibility and more effects than MG300. It's ridiculous. I really miss the effects that Mighty Plug Pro, MG400 and MG30 have. Because of that, I'm done with MG300, actually with NUX. Too shame!
Sorry you feel that way. And to my knowledge we are considering more updates for the MG300 as it is a current product. So maybe be a little more patient

Make sure you're using a USB data cable. Not a charging cable.

Haven't tried the GT1 so I couldn't give you an objective answer.
I have tried that pedal and tho is bigger with more stuff, this pedal is way ahead of the boss gt-1
i got a muted sound after the update. when in tuner, it sounded when i press the loop switch.
can you help me with this issue? bought here in China.
I would suggest doing a reset on the pedal, recalibrate the exp pedal and if all else fails reach out to NuX.

Haven't used the Zoom so I can't offer an objective opinion here. However, I love the tones from the MG-300. It's a great solution for under $150

The mg300 is supposed to support third party IRs but I haven’t tried it yet.
Yes you can load 36 different IRs 1 per user patch. They work great. I've tried all kinds of them.

Hi. As far as I'm aware, it does not transfer the loop and drum via USB.

@@Chip_57 Record it in as an analog signal. Take the main output of the MG-300 and send it to an audio IO that's connected to your computer.
