Great video dude, a bit like a mini drama: the drive down the lane (those country lanes look awesome btw), leaving the bonnet-less e34 unattended, the passing good Samaritan, the tow back to base, the trip to the generous fuel pump benefactor, the sweet sound once running. etc. Loved all the external videography of the Gresswell signature e34 at the show too and then at the fuel station. You have a very natural engaging vocal delivery that I could listen to all day, you could double up as a DJ. Really enjoyed all this e34 content and how you've overcome all the trials and tribulations to grasp success in the end. Looking forward to the Poland adventure. Car sounds sweet!
Looks sweet Josh, and glad you got it sorted. Fair old drive to Poland and back, and yes, I'm speaking from experience! Driving through Germany feels never-ending! Take it easy 😎👍
Well done Josh, looks superb! That filler neck needs the rust removing from it 😆 Also, replace the diff fluid - that'll be manky as fek! I know you have just got it bled, coolant wise, but I would strongly recommend using the matrix hoses to reverse flow the matrix - it'll be funky gunky on the inside - it kinda acts as a debris collector over the years, reverse flow using a hose on low will clear it out. Looking forwards to the next video \o/ Edited for spelling, sun is too bright!
Idk if e34 is different but for e36 and e39 bmw states to have the ignition and heater on with the fan on lowest speed while filling up the coolant, and fill slowly until no air comes out the bleed screw(s). You're not supposed to start the engine at all to bleed it, officially. I have done it both ways and with this method on an e39 it literally took 10 minutes and was good ever after. Or you can get a vacuum filler and just avoid the headache altogether, it will tell you if there's any leaks before filling too.
Im glad for you that other engine you put in is running good after the night mare with the original engine and now you're going to enjoy driving it now put a nice rear exhaust box on will sound nice josh 👍
A couple more tips for you mate. Check your auto trans fluid when the engine is running, it gives you the correct reading.....and get a bloody cooling system funnel 😂 That water dripping from the exhaust would be the result of the last engine pumping water into the cylinders....it will evaporate soon enough. Good job brother, you are learning valuable new skills. Its great to see 👍 Edit* Also...GX61 update when???
Have you thought about collabing with auto Alex and lee lockkwood u all love a beamer and could do a challenge that would be soon good glad u got that car sorted though looks cool AF ❤
Hey Josh...aaaand relax...Before you go to Poland, FCPEuro for another fuel pump (if they are not OEM and are chinesium) then it might go out again on the journey. Also unless someone has removed it there should definitely be a wiring loop for the bimmer speakers. Looks the tits ///';D Jonny three hats.
Everyone polishing their cars at the bar. Josh rolls up with the cobwebs still intact 😂
Looks fantastic Josh , all your hard work paid off ❤
I beg you replace that passenger wing trim.....its causing acute mental distress 😆
Car looks great man.....wash it you animal 😂
This looks absolutely mega , am glad it's all up and running you've put a lot of work into it 👍🏻
Blood, sweat & tears on that engine, well done. great to have it working. Good luck with the Poland trip 🤘
For the older BMW's a bleeder funnel is almost a must have. It higers the reservoir which is such a life saver on these

That engine sounds so much better than the previous one. Wheels are still horrific, but it's coming together nicely now.
What day you going to Poland ? Me and some mates are going over Thursday
👏👏👏 Your dedication rewarded.
I try
Raise the rear slightly, that will help tyre scrub and may make the front look lower
just needs some fettling, suspension too soft and need to trim arch, gotta drop the front more 😂
The real series of unfortunate events 😂 glad to see it’s all working now!
What wheels are you running they look dope.
0:50 Is it cambelt or chains on this? If so, did you change them before fitting?
Have you thought about collabing with auto Alex and lee lockkwood u all love a beamer and could do a challenge that would be soon good glad u got that car sorted though looks cool AF ❤

Nice to see reality vs scripted for tv. Elvis would have thrown a gallon in it and would have worked straight from the field 🥴
