Lots of cameos from famous artists and Nashville area TV/radio personalities at the time, some no longer with us. Chet Atkins, Carl Perkins, Little Jimmy Dickens, Confederate Railroad, Ricky Skaggs, Tom Wopat, Bill Anderson, Grandpa Jones, Ronnie Milsap, Marty Stuart, Doug Stone, Rodney Crowell, Diamond Rio, Sammy Kershaw, Bill Monroe, George Lindsey, Mark Collie, Charlie Chase, and Ralph Emery.
I love Dolly, I love Loretta and I love Tammy! Wow!! Yes! I’m a classically trained musician and friends of mine asked me why I love country music. I didn’t used to. That was my fault. My roots are Scottish and Native American and down to earth hillbilly. I’m proud of it and I love it
I must say I never did care for this song that much at all when it was minor hit back in the sixties but to hear these threee charming country women get it together and belt this song out, just made it sound so much better. It's like apple pie versus hot homemade apple pie with a whole lot of vanilla ice-cream piled ontop. Of coarse I'm a Dolly Fan at heart but don't tune her in as often as all that. My favorite is "Baby I'm Burning" & then Tammy's "Stand by Your Man!". Thx4 postin
I could never express how much I look up to these three women. There is not one day that goes by where I don't sing a song of theirs, or listen to one. I don't know where I would be without them. Love these ladies!!
I agree with you 100 percent Wanda Carr. I used to like country music but the crap that's being played today has completely turned me off. I turn to TH-cam so I can listen to real country music.
Great fantastic my god here Tammy’s tone slaying it - Dolly’s high harmony and Loretta what can you say these women are true legends no one today can top them
Dolly at 47 yrs old, looks amazing! HER style, look, hair, body- made me go "wow"... Great prolific songwriter on top of it all! What a blessed man, that attracts a classy n sassy woman like that....
God I love this song with these ladies all together singing this song cannot be duplicated and now two are gone and Dolly is the last of a generation of true country music that most of us grew up with and it’s great to have these old videos to visit are past that was awesome in talent that won’t be matched .
What a gem of a video! So happy to see these three icons of country music singing together. And all the Cameos too, not in any special order but I saw Chet Atkins, Doug Stone, Ricky Skaggs ,Little Jimmy Dickens, Marty Stuart, Grandpa Jones, Sammy Kershaw, Carl Perkins, Ralph Emery, Tom Wopat, Charley Chase, Goober (George Lindsey), Bill Anderson, Ronnie Milsap,Rodney Crowell,Mark Collie, Confederate Railroad and Diamond Rio. And I'm not sure if that's Bill Monroe or not that Loretta Lynn goes out the door with. I love this video!
yes I love it! So many memories from my childhood and my parents playing and singing a lot of the old classics.. bitter sweet memories. My sister is the oldest but oddly enough I prefer the country and she prefers rock and roll. lol
tell me about it. My dad played this song on guitar and my mama sang it. RIP mom and dad.. I still have recordings of their music as they recorded some onto cassettes and reel to reel. They transferred the reel to reel onto cassette tapes and later years I transferred them to CD/DVD PRICELESS! Loretta Lynn was the queen of country music but Tammy had a wonderful fantastic voice and I'd call her the Lady of country music. Dolly is one of a kind. There is ABSOLUTELY NO country songs like any that these ladies did today. Classics, legends all.
@@Huffdanny-p2n nice to meet you to it's a beautiful day here in Central Florida supposed to get up to 82 today needless to say I'm soaking up the sunshine ! Have a great day 😊

There is a serious problem with this song.......It's just too short. It needs to be at least one more verse longer. I could listen to this song all day.
Steve Williams I agree. I just listened to it like 10× in a row. They are great individually but this song is only made better by having all three of them. They harmonize so well together. I'll never get tired of this song.
mcneillmama50 : I caught that the first time I saw this video. Wanda Jackson first recorded this song in 1956. Anyway, there is another verse to this song; but I have no idea why no one ever sings it. I've got it written down somewhere. I'll send it to you as soon as I find it.
I loved this CD when it came out! This is the first time I've seen this video. What fun they must have had together. May God rest the souls of Tammy and Loretta. And may God continue to bless Dolly Parton.
this is the best video ever and all three wonderful lady's were perfect but I have to say Tammy Wynette is my favourite no matter what she will never change
Agreed the singers of classic country knew what they were telling in their songs because they lived. So they told it in songs and words that you could understand
Dolly had the sense to make this record / video . In reality Dkeeter Davis ( Silver Threads ) sneaked back stage to meet Hank Williams and Chet Atkins ( so I’m told ) . Reality is always stranger than fiction . Praise God .
