I liked the way the guy's hat at 4:48 matched the building. Interesting window shots on the ferry, the crud on the glass and colors made for an interesting look, I liked it. I wish they would make a new pen F. I had an Epl 1 that made some beautifully colored jpegs, really stunning. The sensor stabilizer went on it. But still worked without stabilization. Nice work on a hot day. Bring water, wear shorts. Thanks for the efforts, God bless!
Hi John, As always, thank you for sharing your thoughts 👍. It seems the stabilisation is a common fault with these early Olympus cameras; mine has failed too. Like your E-PL1, there hasn’t been any impact on the camera’s performance. I just get a weird mechanical noise emitting from the camera every time I turn it on. Shanghai does get extremely hot and humid in the summer. Thank you for your caring reminder to drink water and wear shorts; I adhere very much to this policy 👍. Enjoy the remainder of your week, take good care of yourself 🙏
Thank you for the wonderful video, I just bought EP1 last week, however I still don't know how to turn on the Framing Guidelines on this camera. Can anyone guide me on how to do that?
Hi, I'm happy to hear about another E-P1 user 😎 Framing guides, the only way I know how to get to them is by cycling through the INFO button until you reach the gridline screen, I hope this helps, thanks!
I've got both the 14mm 2.5 and the Leica (well, actually DJI) 15mm f1.7 and I'm torn between both. I think the DJI is better because it is fairly weather resistant but then it is also heavier. The DJI (Leica) is also sharper but on a tiny camera (I have an E-PM2) the 14mm fits in my pocket, but the 15mm won't. Swings and roundabouts, I guess?
Thank you for sharing your experience with these two lenses 👍 I tend to sway towards the 14mm over the 12mm, 14-42mm and the 25mm just for size and weight alone. Due to the beauty of the M43 system the weight in my bag, if I want to carry all of my lenses, is minimal compared to my DSLR gear 😫 Have a great weekend Tom!
Super shots through the window!
Great stuff! Thanks for posting this video!
Beautiful photos, I bought my 14/2,5 in 2010 and the E-P1 in 2022, great combo.
Thank you, I totally agree, this lens and camera combo is a great match 🙌

Thanks for sharing ✌ I just bought a 14mm F2.5 on eBay yesterday, can't wait for it to show up after seeing your pictures 😁
Such a great lens, enjoy! 📸😎
Nice. Love the photos through the dirty window glass!
Thank you! 🙌
epic marvelous colors. the future is now

My first camera was the EPL1… a banging little camera that punched way above its weight.
