Despite still lovin my XT3, I just cant put down my newly acquired 5D 1. I 'd love to get a decent 28-75 or 28-105 for it at some point. Shooting with the nifty fifty currently.

This represents a template that other camera demonstrators could use. Just pause a bit longer on the stills and super the settings. This is excellent. Thanks for it.

You should try the Jpegs out of the camera. Unless you really know what you are doing and have a specific look that you create for a personal style they will produce more pleasing colours than raw shot for the sake of it and tweaked.

Are youi in snap focus? it seems it searches for people?

Do you know if any of the Helios lenses will work with 5D Mark iii? I'm dying to do this!

How do you take portraits on the street? Do you do it while moving or while standing still? Do people get scared by you? I’ve always wanted to do this with my GR III!😢

By far my favorite camera, the size let's you take it anywhere and the output is hard to beat. Snap focus!

Hi Paul. Great channel, thanks for all the quality content. May I ask whether you have a favourite Picture Style form those included in the camera as shipped? I normally use Raw for landscapes, but JPEG for street and travel. I use Standard, +3 Sharp, -1 Contrast, +1 Colour and -1 Colour Tone to accentuate the reds a little.

I used to have one, but it broke down mid-wedding, and after that I got a second hand 5Dmk2 instead. My MK2 is still working and I use it as my primary backup body.... (my 1DX is my primary)

Sorry Paul, I’m trying to follow your instructions but… is it normal that it took so many hours to install XP and now it is stacked while installing the Guest addictions? 😅 my laptop is good, it’s a Thinkpad L590, not bad. But it’s all’ incredibly slow 😞 is not possible to set the paramiters on camera? Just moving saturation ecc in picture controls? I think it’s not so simple right? 😅 thanks a lot

Very nice use of the various profiles. I love using the D3s_Look which is close to Velvia but a bit more punchy in my opinion. Cheers

Very nice work. The small nature and pre-focus and shutter speeds are certainly a great help in getting the shots. You have to really get close to get good shots sometimes. I would be nice if they updated that camera to higher megapixels, I wish I had one of those cameras, I have heard nice things about them, for the most part. Very good to see all the people. It takes a certain amount of courage and effort to snap out there, you can get away with a phone, but a camera is harder these days, maybe always. Have you ever looked into Weegee and some of his images and such, a most unusual character that guy. Also I kike the guy, Gregory Crewdson, he's a bit bent that guy, apparently he listened to his father's psych patients through an air vent when he was a kid "emotional damage" (said with and Asian accent), I think that explains that guy. Nice video, good efforts, you should keep that camera in your pocket and use it in the streets and such, it will make for good memories and you can use them when you write your memoirs, you can wait to see how life goes before you come up with a title. Been using Canon 20d for almost a year and it's fine tho, but damn sure i want to buy a fullframe dslr for abt $200

I was bought 5d classic in 2018 year and sold around 2020. I have previously Canon 7d, 40d still have 5dm3, 1dx, Nikon d200, d700 and today arrived 5d classic again. I was regretting and honestly this camera is like old Mercedes mint condition which you feel is not modern, is not fast but give you this mechanical analog feeling how everything works perfectly. The shutter sound and feel is amazing. The simplicity and pure photography experience is so close to analog era. But this camera is not everyone and have lots of limitations. Personally another Legend Nikon d700 is much modern camera but 5d classic for me is gkued to the hand and grip is perfect so comfortable. Im so glad I bought again ❤
