Dr... Sir, May Durga Maa shower her choicest blessings on you. Sir, we are essentially divine beings. Immortality is ingrained and part of the package. Like water, we will assume separate forms like liquid, ice or gas, but we will always be there. Srimad Bhagavad Geeta spoken by Lord Shri Krishna helps us to understand this concept better. 🙏🏻🙂 Also the Mahamrityunjaya mantra is a blessing of Lord Shiva. 🙏🏻🙂
I absolutely identify with the feeling and revelation that many of us don't start to understand life until we've seen 40-50 rotations around the sun. I saw 42 rotations last month and as a practice of gratitude I thought about the lessons I've been so fortunate to learn. My baby sister saw 24 rotations 3 days after me. There's a decent gap between us, and I was off in the military when she grew up. I was so grateful to spend our rotation together this sun cycle. All I could think of was how can I share as much knowledge as I can with her... to spare her, show her more joy and reasons to do her best at blazing her own trail. I can only imagine the wisdom I'll have at 50 and 60 rotations that I can share. We should see many more rotations than the average, maybe then we wouldn't be concerned with the mundane and our world would be better. 💚
@@fatimajardim_ If you pick up a piece of rubbish someone left by the roadside, it's not stealing, so what reimbursement is there that needs to be made, and to whom?
@@extemporaneous4545You have a valid point. It just seems like one is “cheating “ death. Although I understand that the goal is to deepen spiritual practices/growth
@@fatimajardim_ Here is the funny thing about karma : If you think that this is cheating death, then this practice is not for you at this point in your spiritual journey, because obviously you have more to learn and will learn better on the cycle of birth and death than on the extension of just one lifetime. Your discomfort is showing you which fork to take in your path. Don't just apply this principle to this point, but to everything else. If it makes you uncomfortable, don't do it. Because your karma is given by yourself, and only yourself, not by some other worldly unprovable figure some people outsource their divinity to. So if you think it will bring you bad karma, it will bring you bad karma; while the yogi or yogini who sees this practice as a learning and growing opportunity will learn and grow and thrive in their spiritual journey from it. If you the onlooker think they will have repercussions from it, it won't affect them. Because their source of power comes from within themselves; and your source of power comes from within yourself.
in parakaya pravesha, what about the karmic debt the other bodies have. Once the consciousness passes to a new body does it also get credited with additional karmic debts of the new deceased body? Will the concioussness bearer accumulate karmic debts as they switch new bodies?
👀🚩Please read the book titled "The death of death" by authors David Wood and José Luis Cordeiro. They discuss the REAL possibility of physical immortality (which I prefer to call 'indefinite longevity').👀
Excelent and very thoughtprovoking survey of the topic from a Hindu perspective ! For the sake of completeness one should not forget figures of other Traditions , like Khidr or Elias and Jesus from the monotheistic Traditions and Padmasambhava from the Budhists, the Death Defier from the Nagual Tradition. The most relevant question for me is, what is a realistic goal in my life. It does not make sense to live a very long life of sickness and pain , or a very long life to fulfill my petty egotrips. It has to be a healthy and enjoyable life, with real meaning , for exampel to help other people and the spiritual evolution of humanity. Otherwise its better to die and try again…
And with pranayama Dr Robert, isn't the life expectancy of a human being supposed to be according to the number of breaths and not the number of years? Isn't it supposed that when the yogi has mastered prana, there is nothing left to resist him?
If we live too long, we have to think of a way to keep generating income, don't we? And as people age, their skill set becomes less useful in a changing world. The powers of extending one's lifespan have to be developed concurrently with the powers of being able to sustain oneself without the basic necessities of life. Would you care to do a video on that?
To be able to become immortal, most of the process which he mentioned includes getting beyond necessity of food, water and sometimes even air. There are cases of people in India who lived without food or a drop of water. So money is not needed as such. Also they live in secluded forests and caves, and does not require to pay rent. They generally dont have wives and children and dont use wifi. and still if they wish...their aura is such that devotees will fall at their feets and beg them to take their money. And honestly person who can defy death for them making money is something very very easy.
I think it might be easier to arrange to reincarnate in another world as a species who live for much longer than humans (eg in Ljosalfheim as a light elf or Svartalfheim as either a dwarf or a dark elf or some Hindu celestial world) than to become physically immortal as a human. I personally wouldn’t mind skipping over some of the inevitable civilizational chaos on Earth for at least a few thousand years while living and evolving elsewhere.
What if the consciousness of the elites are centuries old and they came across these texts and practices (Parakaya Pravesha) in older bodies and mastered this technique. They might even have bodies preserved or bodies ready for them to jump into when their current body is old and aging. Conspiracy button 👇

My left ear loved this video
What an interesting and almost incredible information. Wouldn’t there be any karmic “debts” for “body or corpse” jumping?

Do not seek immortality for immortality sake, immortality is just a stepping stone for to meet The Beloved Lord, God 🙏✨
