SNSD is the most iconic, legendary, and the one and only Nation's Girl Group. They will be having a comeback as a full group after five years of hiatus. Big news for KPOP fans. SNSD Does a lot of concepts, they are literally the chameleon in concepts so you better check out their MVs.
I PROMISE... YOU WILL ENJOY their arrangement for Pantomime... IT SO AMAZING.

"The Boys" was one of the first SM title tracks to dabble with American producers (this one being produced by Teddy Riley) as well as their first foray into SM's more experimental style that they're kind of known for in the industry now. For SNSD, this album was also their first foray into the American market, and they did perform on some talk shows (like with David Letterman and Kelly Ripa) as well as have a concert at Madison Square Garden! :D
Yup Yujeong is the "Squirtle" member haha. Also, Fearless is their fandom name haha
The SNSD performance on David Letterman was an important milestone, but it is so cringe. Regis Philbin and Bill Murray are sitting on set with David Letterman, and they have no idea who Girls Generation is. That's fine, but all three of them are so obviously checking them out during the whole performance. It's borderline uncomfortable.
Nice for you to listen to the original Pantomime. Its one of the hidden gems in Kpop composed by Exy and Kim Jin Hwan.
Exy wrote the lyrics in 30 mins after watching a kissing scene in a drama.
WJSN gone to the Upside Down is an awesome way to describe Pantomime 😂 I've been wanting to see you react to that song for a while, so it was great to watch you get your mind bended by it haha. It does seem to be a love it or hate it type of song from what I've seen, but I personally adore it. Very excited to see what you think of their performance 👀

omg, I LOVE Red Sun. The video fits so well and Brave Girls seem so relaxed and natural. The song is complex, but flows so well between parts. And, the most important part,
it makes me feel good! :)
Fearless is Brave Girls fandom name. You should check out “After We Ride” MV, it came out after Chi Mat Ba Ram and it’s their best MV to date!

Pantomime is like Oh (Yes I Am) on steroids
I'm sure you've heard this, but Hyolyn was consistently criticized for having darker skin, and for being pretty far away from the Korean beauty standard in other ways. She's been overcoming that for her entire career. It's one of the things that explains her determination and drive in Queendom 2. She legitimately has haters who go out of their way to write disgusting things about her in public and even privately to her. It's an ugly side of Kpop. Her experience is very similar to that of Hwasa.
Taeyeon is my SNSD bias since then and now, She's a top soloist while the rest of the members are also very successful individually, especially in acting. Powerful individuals come together to make a super girl group, SNSD! Let's wait for their comeback this year. it's the celebration of their 15th anniversary
Taeyeon was my first crush in Kpop 🥰Checking out older SNSD MVs was all I did when I first got into the genre in 2015~
It'll be interesting to see how kep1er interprets SNSD 🤔

I love Bop Bop and the performance, but part of me was hoping to see a different song, as much as I like it. Their album is so good, and the song on it I actually would have thought could be made into an awesome Queendom performance is Tweet Tweet. I feel like it could be for them what Twilight was for Oh My Girl (maybe not THAT good, but very good).
After Rollin' , Thank You is my favorite song from Brave Girls. It's on my spotify playlist.

@@kiralye9197 you should probably see it. As a Kpop fan since 2009 and I got to say it's one of the best choreography and song of a Kpop group I've seen over the past year. Like the meaning and choreography was one of the hardest but satisfying to watch.

But anyway, I actually went into Queendom knowing zero to just the basics of these groups. Definitely expected to stan a few and so glad I have! Still rooting for everyone though, and 100% hoping BG doesn’t fall out like mnet keeps teasing.
Btw not really a spoiler but I took part in the global evaluation for this round and just have to say, literally EVERYONE brought their A-game!! Can’t wait to see the process for the last 3 groups next episode!

yeah you could hear the discord notifs, you can turn on "streamer mode" in discord and it will silence them.
It typically turns on automatically right when you turn OBS on. It decided to stop working recently I guess haha

I vastly prefer Kep1er's take on The Boys. 😅 I don't think it's that good of a song, it feels like it's just the same 20 seconds over and over, but Kep1er did an unexpected concept for it that really sold me. And I felt kind of the same for WJSN - when I heard they were doing Pantomime, I was like "really?". I just don't really get that song at all, but the Queendom version hits on a whole different level. 🔥 Everything else here though, great songs! Hadn't heart Red Sun or See Sea before and loved both.

I actually don't like The boys too, SNSD has many way better songs in my opinion and Kep1er stage was interesting version, i actually enjoyed it more. I mean i knew they were not gonna be SNSD and especially Taeyeon but that was not the point.
