When you fix your mini 3 you should try the goggles in head tilt mode. Even more fun.
Gives you the freedom to follow your line of sight, but you can also look around and not change your heading. Just like you do in real life when driving your car. Nobody ever drives and only looks out the front window. Life would be boring.

I had the first DJI Mini when it first came out but haven't flown a drone now in well over a year. The camera on this looks really impressive.
I just bought the Mini 3 Pro and Goggles Integra Motion Combo. Could not update the firmware on the Mini and had to send it back, but I know I will love it, thanks for this great video!!!

Great video mate. I paired up my Mini 3 Pro with the goggles today and took it for a spin. It is awesome with the goggles and controller! Used the head motion control as well and it is on another level. Shame about the prang! I did something similar with my Avata. But she survived. Tough little bird. Hope you get the mini fixed 🙂👍

I tested this config few week ago and the motion controller 2 is a revolution, something different, you point where you want to go, just do it !

Andy, obstacle avoidance on the bottom does not work over water. The infrared laser cannot get an accurate return bounce of the beam off the reflective surface, and it tends to end up in the water if too low (less than 5 feet).

I admire your BALLS Andy ! No not the soft dangly bits but your bottle for using the joy stick n goggles. Ive asked many drone enthusiaists for feedback on doing this no no one could tell me. I just saw your video and it explained it all many thanks buddy. Having totally written off 3 mini 3 Pro drones with normal flying I feel your pain. You are far braver than I am,. I now call my Mavic 2 Pro drone Titanic now because it went down its maiden flight on rocks in a quarry from 200ft when the battery ejected from the drone and it landed on rocks OUCH ! Wrote off £1,800 pounds worth of aircraft ! LMHO

I bought this drone for 28K in my country, it crashed and it wasn't fun :( because they want 11K for repair so I currently have a broken drone in my library and am still paying off the debt.

With MC2 you can just push the joystick down to land. Lots easier :)

You will find the camera module is paired to the drones mainboard. Replace the gimbal but re-use your old camera module (assuming it's working after replacing the cable).

Do you know if there is an fcc hack that works with the latest 0600 (goggles/motion controller) firmware? I'm not necessarily expecting this to work with goggles and motion controller, just on regular RC-N1 controller. I recently picked up a mini 3 Pro and never tried fcc hack, but a free one I found did not work. Not sure if this is because none of them work now with latest firmware

No, it won't. It doesn't even work with all of the DJI models, just a select few.

Hi, Andy I bought a ebike kit from you and it has been abit of a pain in the rear I had bit's missing and now they sent me the wrong charger so still can use my bike yet,I have messaged them in China and waiting for a response and hopefully they can send me a charger or money back so I can buy one myself, I was going to do a review on tiktok 1 million subs but maybe not now, by the time I get a charger I would have been waiting 1 month, they need to check things before sending them. Bit of a own goal there. When you referred to being in fcc mode I doubt it the ham file does not work on the normal drones you need to connect phone to goggles and have something like drone tweeks app then it goes into fcc mode
The ham file seems to work with my Mavic 3 Pro….the signal strength seems the same so I’m presuming it resides solely in the Google unit and is transferred

I tried with the mini 3 pro ham file did not work it was locked to one channel in auto and got poor signal first flight I'd did seem to improve on the 2nd flight not tried with the mavic yet was willing to risk the mini 3 pro to test lol. Yeah you would get some awesome footage up here in Scotland if we ever get good flying weather lol.
I was flying fpv for around 6 years then had a stroke, only have the use of one hand now, tried for 14 months to fly one handed with sticks, can't get my head round it. The motion controller is bang on for me

Sent the drone back to DJI and get a repair done out of pocket. Trust me, they’ll fix it cheaper than you can.
They fixed mine for me cheaper than what it would have cost just for the parts. At least you’ll know it was fixed right.
Don’t take it to a repair shop. They’ll over charge you.

You crashed it, its sad but definetly it worth trying again but with some practice first. I will try it with my Mini3pro aswell, but being my first FPV try, I will need to practice, I think the circle is where the drone is heading and thats very important

Not suitable for long distance flights as drone recovery with goggles is next to impossible. Also, the orange button should disable only the motion sensors. Currently it disables all controls, pretty darn stupid for DJI to implement this way.
To think, that is what I wanted to buy before I researched our laws.... 'Cept out here it woukd cost me 30K in my money for the flymore kit with 2 bigger batteries, 300£ you say..... That is 7k in my money..... Holy crap mate...
Does the goggles 2 ham file hack open up the extra channels like it does for the avata?
You can't access any channels or the manual channel mode in the menu unfortunately so I can't tell.
@andy kirby that's a shame. I'll be buying a mini 3 Pro soon and hoped it behaved like the Avata in terms of ham file hack. If you find out more on this, please create a video. I've subscribed. Thanks!

Nah I didn't really until I tried it, it's surprisingly intuitive.
I doubt you care mate, but you're breaking the law by flying using goggles only without a spotter. Also, hovering right next to that canal bought, while legal, may well have annoyed that guy and it's not what this hobby needs. Fly more responsibly please as all that'll come out of flying illegally is that we'll all suffer when they stiffen up the rules.

Sport Mode brings big bills Andy. A DJI drone will NEVER handle like a real QUADCOPTER....They are in constant NANNY MODE....So unskilled "Pilots" can fly them...lol ...🤔😳🙄😀😀🇬🇧
