    How about the Bush Capital Canberra? Hardly any of the You Tube families come here and if they do, all they showcase is Parliament House and the War Memorial. There is so much more to Canberra than those things - like the National Botanical Gardens, the National Arboretum, riding around Lake Burley Griffin, Cotter River and Dam, National Zoo & Aquarium, Cockington Green, National Museum, National Gallery, Telstra Tower, Tidbinbilla Nature Reserve, Canberra Space Centre. Autumn and Spring are nice times to visit.

      Thanks Scott, so many great suggestions for visiting Canberra! We’re sure we’ll get to the Capital at some point, and look forward to exploring the lesser known and natural attractions! 👍

    Looking forward to you guys seeing South Australia soon , there's a few regions of the state worth exploring as with every state. Some of the regions in SA I like is the Riverland , Murraylands , Flinders Ranges, Robe on the Limestone Coast , Yorke Peninsula, Eyre Peninsula, Fleurieu Peninsula, and the Barossa and Clare Valley wine regions . Of course check the Capital Adelaide to, plenty to see .

    • @TheFeelGoodFamily
      @TheFeelGoodFamily  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you Barry! So many great suggestions for SA! We are very much looking to explore down there as have not spent any time in the State. Lots on our must do list and already thinking we will need more time 😆👍

    How nice is the drive through Cunningham's gap ?
    Driven it so many times from Mudgee to Beaudesert .
    Last time we were that way checked out Darlington Park and Christmas creek.
    Queen Mary Falls on my list.
    A few years ago we stopped in Tenterfield for 2 nights and stayed a week .Bald rock was amazing face walk up.
    Hav efun,Jasper is growing up lovely .

      Yes the Cunninghams Gap drive is awesome! We are loving this region... Killarney was so incredibly green and full of nature, and there’s loads more we are hoping to explore whilst here. One of Paul’s favourite songs is Tenterfield Saddler, so it’s definitely on the list! 👌

    Thanks for sharing look forward to the journey, an area that a lot of people don’t see is Cairns to Borroloola Via Georgetown/ Burketown and then onto Daly Waters very remote road wasn’t the best when I was there last but just amazing country. Safe journey cheers.

    Let the Big Lap begin!!! It will be amazing, there is so much to see and do in the great country of ours....will 12 months be enough time?
    Another great looking product review with the Crazy Dog Storage Bag...and their other products look amazing as well.
    Being from Victoria, I suggest the Victorian Goldfields Railway trip from Castlemaine to Maldon. Maybe a tour of the Central Deborah Goldmine in Bendigo and a tram ride around Bendigo, a King Valley foodie tour, maybe a trip up to Bruno Tofs Art and Sculpture Garden in Marysville. A visit to Collingwood Childrens Farm only 4kms out of Melbourne is aways worthwhile. Old Melbourne Gaol Tour, Puffing Billy Railway, Sovereign Hill in Ballarat, of course, the Great Ocean Road, a Paddle Boat trip on the Murray River up in Echuca, a visit to see the penguin parade on Phillip Island. A visit to WIlsons Prom, maybe a balloon ride. As with every state, there is so much to see and do. It will be so much fun seeing where you go and what you do in the Feel Good Family Big Lap of Australia in 2021.

      Thank you Margo! We’ve been asking ourselves that same question! Maybe this will be one of many laps! Thank you so much for all the recommendations for Victoria, they all sound fantastic! We can’t wait to get south and explore VIC 👍

    The Queen Mary falls are on the bucket list now. When you get to Tassie next go to Montezuma Falls. Easy walk along an old tram track and the falls are spectacular as is the scenery along the way. I have been there several times. Great stuff.

    Another great video. Looking forward to your big lap. So many places to recommend. If I had to pick a couple I would try to stop a few nights on Rottnest Island, I think Jasper would like the Quokkas plus swimming etc. Another must do is snorkelling on the Nigaloo reef. Once I know in which general direction you are travelling I'll try to provide more specific information for attractions, caravan parks etc.

    Great video and looking forward to Season 4 and the big lap as we are looking to start our lap later this year. What books and on line sites etc do you use to do your planning as to where to go and the route, I think a lot of us would appreciate this info and would help us greatly in our travels. Stay safe 👍😃

    • @TheFeelGoodFamily
      @TheFeelGoodFamily  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Cheers guys! How awesome that you are about to embark on your own lap! Which direction are you headed in? We have 2 books that we use a lot, Brendan Baty’s Travel Australia by Caravan & Motorhome which features van parks and places of interest (and great maps), and Camps 10 that is full of free and low cost camp sites. We also use apps like Wikicamps too. We filmed an episode in Season 2 about getting road trip ready, which is full of information on different resources we use, but could also be time to revisit this topic in an upcoming episode 🙂

      @@TheFeelGoodFamily Thanks for the update, will look into those 2 books We just bought our van and have done a couple of trips and found WikiCamps helpful in selecting the caravan parks we have stayed in Will go back and check out your Season 2 video Enjoy
