Thanks for this lovely idea of a double spread with the Stabilo woodies. I bought them after hearing many creators saying they were the thing to get, but I am very disappointed. I bought a basic box and the colours are limited. As they are water soluble they are waxing and you can't write on them. I barely use them. I love the pages you created and the saffron colour from the neocolors is particularly nice. Lovely focal point with the circle and bird. Thanks 🙏❤
I was so bummed as I learned from Lindsay that the Woodys are so deceptive; to me that's borderline fraud ☹ Thank you for showing this lovely spread, using that circle was a great idea 🥰
I just want to put your interest into a fact you maybe don't know. The Woody crayons are originally designed for little children to make first experiences in drawing and holding a pencil. That's the reason why they are so big for it's way easier for children to hold them in their hands. That's also why they are "empty" at the end because it makes no sense to sharpen them to minimum when you are not able to grab such a small thing and use it as a tool. As these are crayons designed for small children this is also an explanation for the downsized colour palette. I often used to buy these when my kids were small and here in Germany they are quite affordable. But maybe the price abroad is different... Hope that was helpful. Happy crafting to everyone, Claudia
