This was a really cool video. I really liked the walking trails. However, what you were saying about the weather out there. It is kind of the same out hear in California except 10 times worst. It's raining so heard that everything is turning into mud. Things are falling apart and hill side and roads are giving way. It is hell on earth out hear. But, it looks great wear you are Kayla. Thumbs up on the a great video.
ah, was hoping you would go to the path that leads to the candlestick rocks area. that has a stairway that goes down to a small beach there. well, you're probably not in 金山 anymore, but next time! lol
my question for a Q&A would be: what city will you be staying at more permanently if you stay in Taiwan, and how long can you stay this time?

Another reason contributes to your feeling might be because you’re in the northern Taiwan, and you used to live in southern part of Taiwan, they actually have different cultures.
haha yeah maybe. i mean, i used to live in Kinmen too which is very different. but i do love the ocean vibes here haha, very chill!
8:03 There is the Yehliu Geopark, which is a very popular scenic spot, but the Cape Mountains extending out in the back are less crowded. Maybe you can go for a hike there, but remember to pay attention to sun protection and water supply.

To disappear into the woods, you will need to take the path less traveled; which will likely lead to more detours. Be patient in life when you encounter detours. Life is a journey, not a destination or competition.

I dont know why but Jinshan or generally the New Taipei (formerly Taipei County) is just somehow hard to get to. Feels like Tainan is even easier to access somehow. I live in the very center of the Taipei for like 28 years.

金包里跨橋 should equal to the suspension bridge or the bridge the cross the two sides. The city fork up the bridge. lol

First of all, Kayla, you are on foot. You need to rent a motorized scooter. There some incredibly beautiful places in Taiwan. There are waterfalls and turquoise lakes in the wooded parks. I know because one of my girlfriends likes to go swimming in them. But, you should not go alone because it can be dangerous. You need an escort guide and other people, because these places are treacherous and complicated to get to, however it is well worth it because they are beautiful and untouched by man. You cannot get to these wooded aeries by yourself. So, you just don't know wear to go. You need to ask a native Taiwanese person about the natural water falls of Taiwan and how do you get to them. However, you still would need to be in a group with other people to see them. And don't forget to wear your bathing suite because you will want to go swimming once you get there. 👍

Kayla: I don‘t know if you have used meetup apps. There are several hiking groups who hike every week around Taipei and northern Taiwan area. The people in the group are mix of local and foreigners.

hahah because the sides were shaved and I'd need to cut it short eventually or it will look crazy. So when i cut it short i wanted to cut it all to say I've shaved my head at least once in my life. it feels great!

Taiwan is a little bit big country and almost zero crime rate and you will not afraid to go anywhere enven in the far flung by yourself but the only scary there is if you are alone and lost in a place until the dark times come..you will cry coz the place seems a lot of ghost hahaha
Taiwan is a boring place to spent your early & mid life, you don't want to waste your youth here ...
85% of Taiwanese people lives an lifestyle just a little bit above surviving lifestyle, and that's it ...
