After a very long time seen Firdos Sahab on Tv first would like too congratulate Nomam Ijaz Sahab for inviting a legend for us ♥️ in 80’s seen lot of drama with my parents on PTV firdos jamal Sahab done wonderful work his Acting superb on that time we just have one channel ptv 👍 today I seen him on TH-cam thank you social media give us that opportunity 🙏
Firdous Jamal has been my favourite actor for a long part of my youthful years. When I was a young army officer posted at Risalpur, he was a presenter (now called DJ) of a musical programme at Radio Pakistan Peshawar. I was his regular listener. With his passion for his job, heavy and resonant voice and articulate expression, he made that programme a treat to listen. From his perfect Urdu expression and accent it was extremely difficult to believe that he was a Pathan. One day, I was fascinated to see him performing at stage in front of the entry gate of a MAUT KA KUNWAN as part of some circus right inside Risalpur Cantt sometime in 1970 or 71. Then he started acting on erstwhile PTV and I hardly missed any of his dramas. He played a major role in creating that unforgettable golden era of PTV. His performance in MAN CHALAY KA SAUDA was inimitable.........what a performing artist he is. May Allah bless him with early recovery (I believe he is in safe hands), health and a long life.
