Thank you. Watch out for links to my original DLP video in this too - it is relevant viewing. In this one I try and focus on recent changes and it's not so much of a deep dive.
Hi Peter! I'm guessing DLP policies are not supported for many assets such as Azure blob storage and Azure sql server? I haven't seen any demonstrations on how that would work for data outside of O365 (sharepoint etc).
I am trying to implement an endpoint DLP policy for a device-only group. But it does not work as expected. However, if I apply it to the user it works. Any solutions? Btw, love your content, Thanks!
@@peterrisingM365 Thanks for the reply .When I create a DLP policy and set the location to only devices and further reduce the scope of the policy to a single user the policy works as expected .(like blocking print actions, copy to clipboard)etc .However when I modify the exact same policy and set the location to only devices and select a device group it does not work at all(like blocking print action ,copy to clipboard etc .,)Is it only user identity based or endpoint policy can be implemented on device only group?
7 great videos for the SC-400 exam :) I would love to see you complete the series for the remaining exam objectives.
I decided to leave this series as the exam changes often. I’m focusing instead on my new Learn MS purview series.
I passed SC 400 today, along with MS 102 last month. Obtained an expert certification! Your videos are the main sources for my preparation. Thank you!
Great job! Thanks so much for the kind words. 😀
Looking forward to this Peter, this has always been a section of the 365 ecosystem that has puzzled me!

Correct, DLP currently does not support this. However, Sensitivity Labels are an option as per your other comment.
@@peterrisingM365 thanks! You're a true altruist :)
Hi Sir Peter, can you help me on migrating EAC rules to purview using policy migration wizard? We cannot edit any rules in EAC now :(
Take a look at this - microsoft.github.io/ComplianceCxE/playbooks/etr2dlp/ - may be of help.

Thanks for the kind words. Can you elaborate on how it does not work as expected? Does it not work at all?
