Have a ticket open with MS who are aware of the issue and working on a fix....cant help but feel this whole Defender on MacOS is just broken though tbh

Created a DLP for Teams (like in your examle) a while ago. The DLP is in simulation mode, but after two weeks there are still no records found. Great video!

Google Workspace has a feature to disable the Challenge. I was looking for something similar for onboarding with Office 365. This is very helpful!

I have some classifiers and have tested the built-in ones and none of them ever seem to work to apply a retention label. Tried on three different tenants too. Always the same.

Can you make a video on how you can migrate documents Sensitivity labels to to the new sensitivity labels? We have a legacy labels that had some issues and best fix was to create a new set of labels, but I want to migrate the old docs to the new labels. I could use a best practice for this.

At 2:57 you mentioned that the score was not acceptable. In most Secure Score tutorial videos the scores seem to be in the 40s. So what is an acceptable score range? I'm sure this varies along many factors, but a rough idea would be awesome!

I agree with #1, not mind-blowing, well known in the last 15 years. #2 is a downside as well. think about Mircosoft replacing your driver with generic drivers, rendering your device to ..... #3 somewhat true, let's say it's there somewhere. #4 somewhat true. while they have not fixed many things from the past, they have added many features we tend to immediatelly disable and the "hiding" things under a 3-4 layers is really really anoying. not a fan of enforcing. #5 true

I personally would never use powershell, I've always used bash, whether in linux, or mac.

Apple killed Macs with ARM for me, I used to have an iMac with Bootcamp and was happy with it. I had to ditch it and go back to Windows because I needed backwards compatibility more than I needed pointless ARM for a Desktop. I get at the time it was great for the Air, but now the latest x86 chips have caught back up and ARM doesn't seem to be running away with it like people though, Apple's SoCs have been quite stagnant. I really wish they at least had the option to choose between x86 or ARM, even if they switched to AMD.

Shame Microsoft are turning Windows into Spyware and doing annoying things like forced updates and turning things on you've disabled. As soon as Linux gets serious with gaming (hopefully Valve push Steam OS for Desktop again) then I'm ditching Windows.

Let's me start Linux doesn't spy on you, open source, repects your privacy, any Windows or Mac software probably have at least 3 similar or equivalent apps. Linux apps are 90% free, Linux is a millon times more secure over Mac or Windows. Almost all governmental servers runs on Linux. Banks, Hotels, Airports, NASA, space shuttles and the international space station also runs on Linux. SteamOs is Linux, Steam deck is running on Arch Linux KDE. All Steam Games runs smoothly on Linux with a simple button press in the steam app activing proton layer. Drivers baked in Linux Kernel so you don't need to look for or even update drivers when Linux updates all of your existing drivers update. A true plug and play with common devices. For complete beginners on Linux: Ubuntu, Mint, PopOs or Elementary OS even more simple and easier to use than Windows or Even MacOs. Ah, if you got an Android phone you are already using Linux........... If you got an IPhone you actually using Unix platform. Based on Unix that was heavily modified and Licensed under MacOs name. A nice bonus fact if you don't know the Mac computers in the late 70s early 80s ran Microsoft software like MS-DOS.

It's certainly better at taking away all control of your own computer hardware from you and stealing your data. Mac is currently better at locking you into a corporate ecosystem limited to grossly overpriced hardware. Linux is better at giving your computer hardware back to you, but you have to format away every last byte of he corporate malware OS.

Windows shits all over MacOS

I was a Mac user for 32 years, but I grew increasingly unhappy with the hardware. I'd used a Windows 10 box as a Steam games machine and I found that Windows was surprisingly useable. I'd even do some of my work on the Windows machine. When the keyboard failed (again) on my M1 laptop, I decided an £800 repair was beyond the pale, so I bought an AMD Framework laptop. The machine itself is good, though the camera, trackpad and speakers aren't quite up to the Apple level. The absolutely awful feature that's left me miserable for more than a year now... is Windows 11.
