I like WC, I actually live in San Ramon, just south of WC. It's a nice city, with many shopping options, nice neighborhoods and having BART is really nice as you can get to the City easily. The climate and schools are nice in WC as well...
It's definitely a beautiful area. I love it. It's safe, diverse, charming and it does have affordable areas like several bay area communities if people know where to look.

Yep I grew up in San Ramon! It's changed A LOT for the better!
