Yeah, if cost were no object I would be very psyched if those guys did up an S-chassis for me for the street. (Though I'd lean toward a 180/Sileighty, cause I love hatchbacks most. :) Also much less pink except in engine bay cause in my generation a gal with pink stuff tended to mean 'Daddy bought me this' instead of 'Haha! JDM! ' :) )
You should use the O.E.M. Volkwagen group coils like R8 coils. I believe the coils for the 1.8T VAG engine are the right size stalk for SR20, R8 will fit but are a bit long. 100x better and super cheap o.e.m.!

Finishing up a freshly painted bay feels soo good. I am almost done with my bay as well. I use VQ35 coil packs which are very similar to these but still bolt in.
This almost better than the Miata build, and the only reason that is was because you were stuck in the States and is was spontaneous...I also miss the fishing videos! More Power!
From a fellow car guy, extremely good decision to pull that box again. 30 minutes work is better than a disaster, 👏 I know alot of people who'd just say "she'll be right" and send it.
Damn I was just thinking about swapping out my coils so now I have to order that Yashio factory conversion and hope shipping doesn't take forever. I used to live in yokosuka so I definitely know what you're talking about with that super sticky humidity.
This is like a mini rebuild. I remember when Sam first bought the car and him trying to remove the cables for all those security systems and how he kept taking about the amazing price he got the car for even with it having such low miles 😂
Some of those air fresheners do seem like they may be cool, ...just given where I park I probably wouldn't want anything that smells like food or like what might attract pollenators/etc. :)

Use clear water hoses and use green coolant, that would look so good with the hot pink having lime green going through it.
