Dirt Miller is fab, he would never have been on my radar if it wasn’t for Ren. I’m working my way through his music. Absolutely love Kansas City, D1 and Water in my wine.

According to the description on most of Dirt Miller's videos, his manager Dianne Copeland is his cinematographer. Here is a short bio I found online: "Dirt Miller is a multi-instrumentalist and songwriter from Spokane WA who has been entrenched in music his entire life. With a saga to tell about a life lived hard, and a recovery fought for even harder, Dirt's guitar virtuosity combined with his unique singing style and interpretation of humble melodies and lyrics paint a lush scenario of Americana soul. His early influences like Bob Dylan, Cat Stevens, James Taylor, and Led Zeppelin, echo in his songs. Music that comes from pure instinct and deep roots in American folklore and blues history, influenced by the majestic lands of this country and spirituality. Dirt Miller’s music (co-produced by composer Max DiCarlo) is comprised of real instrumentation - cellos, violins and percussion creating a surreal world of images and emotion. Telling the human story with eloquence, fierceness, beauty and a personal edge that hearkens to one's inner soul, Dirt showcases a dynamic mastery of technical guitar playing matched with a gritty sultry voice that is sure to cut straight to your heart strings-always leaving you wanting more. All written from his true-life experience, the music speaks for itself! Dirt is represented by Manager Dianne Copeland (Copeland Entertainment) and by William Morris Endeavor (WME)."

It’s such a crime that Dirt’s music is so unknown. It’s tragic.
Who would have thought that the next Mozart would be found in California covered with dust.

Thanks much for this! I wondered how he was making the guitar sound like that and appreciate you adding the video snippet of the other guitarist and you doing the technique.
Before Ren boosted him, Dirt Miller only had a couple of thousand subscribers. Ren's boost added about 8,000 in a matter of days. I've watched every video and listened to every song several times now. His videos are gorgeous. You are right, it is so very wrong that Dirt is not more popular. Ren hinted strongly that there may be a collab between him and Dirt so fingers crossed that happens.

Dirt Miller rocks! Aww man, I haven't heard the name Al Di Meola in years, it triggered a huge nostalgia trip for me. I took some lessons as a teenager and my instructor was a huge fan of his music. He sent me home with a huge box of tapes to listen to! It wasn't my cup of tea at the time (All I cared about was grunge rock, lol) but I'm sure I'd love it now.

I love listening to the Guitar Trio of DiMeola, De Lucia and McLaughlin. TH-cam and fame are a funny thing, I hope it happens for Dirt... sometimes true talent does go unnoticed sadly...

Check out Kansas City or his latest, can't recall the name, it's about his Father!
But his singing voice is what makes him so impressive to me! Along with his guitar work!

Thank you for the reaction. I've been wanting to hear what guitar players think of it!

Thank you so much for doing this reaction and for making the comparison to Al Di Meola. I hadn't heard of him before, so now I have a lot of listening to do. I think we figured this would be the most obvious first reaction because it highlights his guitar playing, but you should definitely delve into his other songs as well and hear his voice. He is such a unique and authentic artist and, as you said, he deserves a lot more attention.
For a good mix of guitar and vocals you might try Roll the Dice.
For a little more vocals try D1.
The one that Ren suggested to his community is Kansas City. That's even more of a mix of genres. He even raps a little in it.
You can't really go wrong though. I'm looking forward to more.

Benjamin Tod doing Using Again is a great song about his personal struggle. Just him and his guitar.

I was searching DM reactions and found your channel. Really appreciated your reaction and the information you shared. New sub now. Love ALL his music, but Guitar Symphony is my fav. Check out D1 and Roll the Dice.

Before Ren gave Dirt Miller a shout out he had very few subscribers. Its crazy that there are such talented musicians, vocalists, performers that we know nothing about and yet some with only a tiny fraction of the talent are famous world wide. Such a shame.

Oh Amy, I love them! I'm listening to their guitar trio cd right now as we speak. Awhile at a thrift sale at a local church I found a CD of McLaughlin playing with an orchestra. Needless to say I bought it and was in 7th heaven!

@@YesYouCANPlayGuitar I love them too! And I have several of each artist... I've often referred to them to describe a playing style, and no one gets the reference! Please tell me you also appreciate Ottmar Liebert...? So good live!

DIRT is a secret American Treasure...
And the secret part is a shame, but i feel like if he's able to keep putting out tunes he wont stay secret for long.
