I went through shit like that all the time growing up to the point I was just savage back at them, so I do have to give my past semi-bullies props for making me quick on the come backs. I remember we had to write a short story to read to the class once a month. One time one of the shitty girls raised her hand after and asked 'do you think anyone really cares?' the story was about a girl that overcame a rough childhood (self insert) so her comment was particularly hurtful... without thinking I just snapped back "About your opinion? No. No one cares." Still hurt, but kids are shitlords.
