I love this music. I enjoyed it as a teenager and adult. I love dancing to this music. It's great to know we had musicians in San Antonio, TX that played oldies at our dances in high school and social dances as well. Those were the good old days.

Here in old San Antonio tex,these guys and the sunny & sunliners,were always on the radio of course other bands as well,this music was normal to us!!every day thing!!!!And till this day sunny is loved here,everywhere he goes he take A little bit of us all!!!!😊
St. Francis dances were awesome back in the day. They used to play here in Houston at a club close to downtown but forgot the name of it, that was back in 1975-76. This band was awesome.
its very sad that one of them died saturday...there music will always live on in the hearts of many chicanos :D God Bless there family in this time of need
These guys performed in Bryan, TX, many years ago, at some crappy little ballroom. Nobody got up to dance. The singer finally stopped a song and said that if no one was going to get up and dance, they were going to leave. They played a few more sets and left.
bellycarreon..you are not thinking of the Navy Club are you?? The one on Main street..I think..that was also a after hours clubs..great place to hang out and dance after all the other clubs closed..
