Great to watch the fun you guys have. Went down with Parkinson’s 2yrs ago now and do try to get on the course but getting harder. Keep those vids coming please. Great to watch.
Love these videos, hidden gems is best TH-cam golf content ever. Honestly watch this over any other golf content including PGA/LIV/DP great stuff all at golf mates and Mizuno 🎉
Best 9 hole course in the World, truly is a hidden gem. Only 1 road in and out, unless you have a boat. My ould fella was a member, played it many times. Definitely the best Par 3 anywhere for scenery. Great video chaps, only thing being it’s pronounced Critch.
One of the things that makes the Hidden Gems so enjoyable to watch is the effort you put into the B-roll shots. The clips of you driving along the route to the golf course, showing the scenery of the drive, and the overhead shots of the course, really make us feel like we are accompanying you and the Golf Mates on the journey. Those finishing touches elevate the quality of your channel and are part of the reason so many of us look forward to your videos.
i can confidently say that these videos have been the only ones on TH-cam I have consistently watched beginning to end and looked forward to the next in the series. Great job.
Big thanks to Shane for the invite so that us golfmates could witness this beautiful course. Well done Liam with the cameras to show it off to the full extent of its beauty. Brilliant video boys !!
A fantastic series, gentlemen. Real golf played, and many drinks quaffed. Ireland should make you all honorary Irish men because of the plugging of golf in Ireland. By the way, excellent work by the cameraman, he has really brought out the best of the whole occasion 🏆
Barlow being Barlow, is a hoot. Love watching him play. Ireland has quite a few spectacular courses. They need to pay you for the promotions your giving. Cheers.
I just discovered this channel a few days ago and I love it. Very entertaining and really interesting and. amazing views of some beautiful golf courses. I find myself laughing a lot to the humor Liam and his friends bring to the experience!! Thank you for this! :)
These courses are stunning and your camera/drone work is amazing. Shane is doing a great job since all these hills and valleys make it challenge to see where shots end up. Goodness, Liam and team, simply wonderful footage and entertainment!
Great video again! The camera work is spot on, the whole production is professional. You guys are very positive with each other too, encouraging each other to play well. Keep up the good work!
I'm from Galway in the west of Ireland. After watching this I will definitely be making a trip to Cruit next year. Carne Golf Links in Mayo is another hidden gem of a course if you ever get a chance to play it.
Brilliant lads, great work showing off Donegal links in this hidden gem series, Cruit is a great wee track, need to pop on the golfing brain when playing there 👍 Something drastic must happen in Portsalon if you're not leading Liam 🤣
Pronounced 'critch'. I played there a few years back and didn't shut up about it for ages! Absolutely beautiful, and a good pint of Guinness in the clubhouse too. The course destroyed me, but I was delighted to par the 6th: pretty daunting for a duffer like me!
Another great video gents, well done all. I know all that travelling would most likely have been a bit too much for OMP but it would have been lovely to see him in Ireland with the gang golfing and supping some creamy pints!!!
I thought the 12th at Hopeman was beautiful but that little par-3 on this video is an absolutely stunning golf hole. Well done guys, in some very difficult conditions. I can see how you would love this course whatever the conditions.
Another classic - the handicaps in that wind are tough. Liam consistent (with the luck 🤭). I hope other videos were filmed on this day for viewing on a later date, I would love further banter and content. Well done all
Like I said last week, this has better views than Pebble at a fraction of the cost. I will never forget this course. I would've watched you play the full 9 had you filmed it. 🍻
The day we played, I had to hit 6 iron on that par 3. The wind was howling from the west into us. Thanks again for the incredible content! What memories you'll have!
Stunning, what a course ,the golf wasn’t that bad in difficult conditions, now the dancing that was shocking but as long as you enjoyed yourself, always love these hidden gems series never a bad one.
This hidden gems series is amazing. I am from Ireland myself and its great to see your love for the country and thank you for capturing the beautiful scenery Ireland has to offer. Tony
I'm so proud of this little country I live in,you's have done a great job promoting it,keep your phone on tourism Ireland will be giving you a cal👍🍻☘️🍀
Another outstanding Hidden Gem Liam, absolutely stunning. Golf might not have been top class but the wind was a big challenge. I don't think you need to worry about doing Ireland proud, these videos are superb and show Ireland and Irish golf courses in their full glory. Well done to all and can't wait for the next one.🏌♀
All the courses in these hidden gems are just breathtaking fantastic content guys and it looked like it was hard conditions guys so don’t be too hard on yourselves when it’s breezy swing easy as liam says.
Wow, you said it, "beautiful course". Thank you Shane. Totally agree with platobach, you and Joe do such a gret job of showing how wonderful the whole experience is. Did a show many years ago about fly fishish "A River Somewhere". 75% of the show was about location, people and experience. 25% about fishing.
Love the Hidden Gems, Liam. I was out this morning on a cold, wet, blustery Canadian October morning (Thanksgiving Monday). A decent round despite the wretched weather.
I’ve visited Donegal in May, this wee course was so beautiful that I’ve played it 3 times. Watching this video brought back sweet memories 👍🏼 Love your series!
Great looking course I hope I get good weather when I go to Ireland next year because I am going to try and get to that course. Thanks for showing it to me.
Love your work. Great course and outstanding production. You capture the beauty of the places and courses then sprinkle it with a little history and finish it off with the essence of golf in my humble view, which is some enjoyable banter over a heathy bit of competition. You should come to Australia and do the "Bashes" ..I can easily find you some Aussie equivalents of Mr Barlow etc....would be great fun ,keep up the great work
Wow as Barlow says! Beautiful!!! Stunning courses in Ireland. Have to play there when I visit UK next time. More of these hidden gems with the 3 of you please. What great scenery. And very reasonable pricing to play there. Love the shirt too Liam. Oh and the hidden gems in Slovakia are brilliant too.🏌️👍🏽
What a course and well played to everyone in very testing conditions the scenery was amazing cheers golfmates for bringing these hidden gems to us roll on next Monday
Liam? Your research for these Hidden Gems, is excellent. Time well spent. Now you have set the bar so high, it may be difficult keeping to this standard. I and all the "Golf Mates" beleive you can keep it coming.
😂 mr Barlow never disappoints, wind didn't push his putt in ,wrong sort of sand and carn't count, I play with loads of golfers just like that lol r&g x
I've said this often how lucky are you lot to play all these beautiful courses in the hidden gems series like alot of viewers I've watched the lot and loved them all 👏👏👍🏴
Liam and the Golf Mates Thanks for the Channel Just Discovered yous and would already say yous are one of the best Golf channels on TH-cam. These Irish Hidden Gems are amazing courses and you can really see how you guys appreciate the courses and hospitality of the Irish people. Just keep it up look forward to the next instalment. If you ever need a crap golfer to make up a Four Ball you can always give me a shout lol
Making a note of all these Liam. Came to Ireland for first time in May, played Roundwood and Macreddin, great courses. Ireland blew me away and can’t wait to go back 👍
Played that course 2 years ago and the wind was howling but it is absolutely stunning, loads of courses in the donegal/west of ireland region that are hidden gems
Great video, lads. Was there in August just for a scout out. But after your experiences it's now firmly on next year's itinary. The views are stunning beyond belief. We're now praying for a calm day.
I grew up in Melbourne playing the famous sand belt courses, my favourite was Metropolitan closely followed by Kingston Heath and Royal Melbourne West. In 1987 I played in the UK at some of the open courses…Royal Birkdale became my favourite course . In 2005 4 of us played more Open courses then we went to Ireland playing some of the famous courses. We played Waterville, that is now my favourite course in the world…I’ve also played Pebble Beach in 1995. Have you played Waterville?
Looking at this course and seeing the beauty of Ireland, I can tell why I feel such a draw to visit my ancestral lands. Planning a trip with me best mate who is a direct blood descendant of Irish Kings and of the Kelly family, famous for Ned Kelly. I can't wait to take a trip back home and maybe even catch up with Golf Mates. Blessings to you all from Down Under.
Just when you think it can't get any better and you pull that out the bag❤😮,there's something really special when you don't play great but you just walk around with a smile after playing a terrific golf course 😊
Can’t speak too highly about this series. Great scenery, cracking golf courses and golf mates playing entertaining golf. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ any way you look at it.
As we say in Donegal. Up here is different. Glad you lads are enjoying our beautiful county. It a shame I didn't know you were in the area. Would of enjoyed a few beers and the craic with you. Keep up the great content enjoying this series. Thank you.

How Tourism Ireland isn't all over you is beyond me ... phenomenal promotion of Irish golf ..love the channel ..continued success and thank you ..Gar
Honestly I wish they was
As an Irish person I absolutely agree!!
100% correct, you should contact either golf Ireland or Irish tourism and get sponsorship, sure your doing their job for them 🇮🇪 🏌️♂️⛳
Agreed!
Totally agree your team is one of the best unpaid promotions for the old homeland - before they sent us convicts to Aussie LOL🌏
