    I’ve done this also. It sends a link to my wife to create a new account. Then she logs in and nothing is there. It’s like a brand new account she created, that contains no data whatsoever like my account does. Definitely not working

      @@particle0404 I had ur problem, too. I think it was logging into the invitees account, going to dashboard, then selecting locations, then selecting on the invited location, is what finally worked for us, salient point - accepting the invite on the computer account. then it showed up on the iphone app.

      I was having the same problem, what I did was once I created the account I went back to the invitation link where it said create account and I would sign in (the account you just created; friend account) instead of create account and it worked. I tried doing the location thing and it didn’t work for me. Hope this works for everyone else. 😊

    So frustrating, to help setup the camera sharing I even had a person from Arlo on a chat to guide me trough it, but it still does not work. The arlo support person eventually gave up. We tried all versions of setting it up, via app, via online account, vice versa, no luck. They did not say but I presume they want the shared person also to sign up to a paid contact. This is very poor Arlo!

    I had the same issue everyone else did. When accepting the invite you HAVE to proceed through the link provided in the email and the browser it opens all the way to the point of them asking for you to choose a subscription, not just accepting it. I originally accepted then went into the app. It did not work until I went through the browser until it asked to choose a subscription. You don’t need to though. Once I did all that, THEN I closed the email and the app and reopened the app, logged in and found the device feed under “devices”

      Probably by design to try and get more subscriptions that are unneeded

      This worked for me, I had a client I installed 2 doorbells, a couple doorbell buzzers and a camera with solar panel like a year or so ago, I went through the setup in the sequence it walked us thru back then but the camera's never showed up, at the time I saw forum posts saying it could take up to 24 hours for the cameras to show up, well skip to more recent the clients wife got a new phone and wasn't even able to get push notifications from Arlo for the setup on the new phone, I solved that, then followed these instructions and as soon as I got to the subscription selection screen I flipped back to the Arlo app and bam there where all the cameras.

    DECEMBER 2023: I had this same issue and got it figured out. The first thing you have to do is make sure the Arlo app you're sending the invite from is up-to-date from WITHIN (not an app update via Apple). To do this, go into your Arlo app, go to Add a Device, select Pro and the S5 ... if you're on an old version of the app, it'll prompt you to update it. Do it. Afterwards, back out to the main screen and send your invite. When the other person signs in, have them go to the Devices Tab on the bottom, then click Home at the top of the screen ... it should allow you to choose the shared cameras there. What a process...

      Having the same problem. The email invitation to grant access requires my friend to set up the system as if he just bought the unit and is the primary account holder. Arlo is difficult to navigate. They need to reach out to new users to get feedback on their installation experiences

    If you can show what happens on the invitee’s side, that would be great. I have problem to view the device after I accepted the invite.

    I sent an invite to a family member, she accepts invite, but does not see any feeds anywhere. She has no paid subscription. Does she need a paid subscription to see the feeds?

    Didnt work for me either! Had my son go through the entire process of setting up a new camera. The invited camera didn't show up.

    You didn't Specify if the person invited has to have a subscription plan. The person that is inviting must have a subscription plan.

    I did this exact thing and when the person I’m sending it to get it, they create an account and right after they create an account it tells them to add a camera or something. That’s not how it’s supposed to go, I already sent them a on my account so I sent invitation why is it telling them to add a camera.

      same with me like first of all theres no damn instructions on how they're supposed to sing in, weather they make a new account or use our log in info. super annoying

    I cannot have other people connect to my cameras. My wife couldn’t at first but the next day she somehow was. I tried to add another person and sent the link, verified etc… but they cannot connect to the cameras. The qr won’t scan. Anyone know what’s happening and why my wife wasn’t able to connect at first but the next day she could, but the other person still can’t???

    LOL! This doesn’t work and the app is a joke. The other account never connects like everyone in the comments say. How about do a video on this problem since your instructions are a failure. There are now apparently 2 versions of the app which makes it impossible to do. My wife’s app looks completely different than mine, both updated on same iOS. Thanks for nothing!

    Its not work i sent invitation through email they sign up there is no camera shown. When they pair the device it kicks me out and removes the camera from my account. Unacceptable i already paid for a subscription

    Arlo is bull. I've been trying to add family and have the same issues as everyone. While our vehicles were being vandalized

    This process does not work. My friend tried it twice and I now have 2 accounts because I don't know how to delete an Arlo account and the online help is totally useless. There is no one to call. What's worse is when you create an account from the invitation email, it makes you go thru the steps of defining a location (eg. my home) and to add devices. So I did that. I actually was hoping to see my friend's location to select. No such luck. Once this location is created, you can't deleted just as I cannot delete my two accounts. Arlo has a very very poor User Interface and 0 customer support.

    Nice video, the issue I’m having is trying to add my wife. I’m on the Trial Plan, although I went through the prompts she still doesn’t have access, any idea if it is because it’s a Trial account? Thank you

      @@dnaess8998 I created account, I had to have my wife sign in using my credentials. You can’t do anything on the free account.

      ​@jimmyprater7546 I was having the same issue .I tried to look it up and stumbled upon this video. What I did was go back to the primary account , clicked on : 'people' then the name of the name person you are trying to give access to then unchecked and rechecked the camera you want the person to have access to. It should should work afterward.

      @@smarthomestarter well what you went over is right there and self explanatory, literally takes one minute. However, it's the second part that doesn't provide any directions. Just send the invite, then on their end not only does it make them set up an account, and that's it. Then when they take time to set up an account that's it, there is no info about the account trying to give access, none whatsoever. I'm just saying when someone is looking for help on how to do something it's usually not for the part that is missing. Arlo is one of the worst products I've ever used. Don't even get me started on what I went through a year ago when the damn doorbell went offline and the only way to get it back was to remove it then reset it and begin with setting it up. Needless to say I let that trail run out and didn't bother using it till now. It may seems like I may have to just get wifi cameras with motion sensor that my son and I can view any time on our phones. The goal is to help him feel better about being home alone

    ....Im returning your product and getting a refund. I'll buy your competitors product instead. Your customer service is terrible!
