@ bro wtf rusty is jacked. I think it’s a combination of interests and genetics, Nick and Rip obviously doesn’t have the same genetics as Rusty, Rip is also old, likes to drink and eat. In the end: who cares? I’m here for knowledge not to observe their body, and in general it’s quality content. Also, you’d have to be insane to say they didn’t develop their strength significantly
Bro just keep gaining bro I started GOMAD in '05 and I'm up to 780 lbs and my squat is 425 just keep going bro why do you keep questioning the blue book bro
The right answer is to get to a healthy bodyweight and max your strength out at that weight. There's no need to get heavier to lift more if you're not a competitive powerlifter.
You have to gain weight at all costs; it doesn't matter how fat you will be. add weight to the bar It doesn't matter how much you weigh; it matters how strong you are. Bigger is stronger. Get your body weight to 500 lbs get bigger You will be bigger than what happens next. You will be stronger too and lift more heavier weights drink 3 gallons of mil a day and get bigger get it? you get stronger.
But what about in a the article "a clarification" where you say that if over 20% body fat should remain at the weight and there body fat percentage will moderate. Isn't that recomposition?
LOL these guys constantly contradict themselves, don't try and find a consistent philosophy, they just want you to eat and inject testosterone to keep adding weight to the bar indefinitely. Meanwhile, Rip and Nick don't even train anymore.
@Craig-m7x to be fair though lots of great coaches in lots of sports trained and learned a lot while younger but don't participate anymore. Doesn't mean the information they provide is wrong.
Thats not how it work, if you are eating REAL food and are generally active (lifting heavy atleast 2-3X a week) you will not become morbidly obese or even fat because you are puting on muscle and don't eat like shit and guess what you will be fine. Get you maingaining bullshit out of here and keep doing your shitty fitness guru program and make no progress of 5 fucking years.
If one follows the bodyfat percentage, you'll have your caloric surplus and get stronger and heavier without getting fat. The point is to choose what percentage you're confortable with and staying there, adjusting your diet towards mantaining fat%, not mantenance which is current weight mantenance! I'm very happy at 20%, down from 28% and weak. Will continue lifting and gaining weight accordingly, always at 20%.
At 6:03, Rip says, " Watch your carb intake." In the past. I believe the concern was more focused on fat. Has Rip changed his views? Or more likely I misunderstanding some things.

@woodshcc5 he's definitely 25-30% bf. I've heard him say before he's as low as 23 lol. And the fact that the SS crew thinks anyone not blasting gear can gain 50lbs of bodyweight in under a year and only add 3% to their bf% is delusional
@@tyler7992 I was definitely thinking he was lower than 30%. You can put on quite a bit of muscle in your novice stages... I think most people believe this whole 10 lb of muscle a year is all you're capable of, but that only really applies to advanced lifters.

No-one cares about cholesterol. Or not the way you do. Cholesterol builds, your brain, cholesterol builds all your hormones.
