Emma here. So sorry for your loss, my first dog Toby was with me for 18 years and had to let him go because of health reasons and it was the hardest thing in the world!
The fur babies are exactly that, they give so much for so little. Our 10 year old broke his second leg in 10 years and the vest we have where amazing. 9 weeks later allot of work and sleepless nights and he is up and walking again. Great Vlog love following you guys.

Feel for you. Just lost our very fussy attention seeking moggy of 15 years, Pip the dog still keeps looking for her wingman as they used to curl up and sleep together. So sorry for your loss and we know how much animals bond poppy’s best mate was a black cat called mog until he got hit by a police car and we sadly lost him. And she was looking for him for weeks, part of the reason we got Dolly as she needed a friend 🐾🐾
I had a two year old long hair lab named Joe she was my best friend. She ate some grass treated with weed killer. I spent monies getting her blood transfusions but she passed away due to organ failure. It is true they are not just cats and dogs. She was my best and the last good friend. I cannot go through that again. I am glad Poppy is going to be well.

Glad you found a good vet and your Fur-baby is going to be okay! It is sad is that healthcare for people and pets is not much different... my own favorite physician told me something I will never forget, "not all doctors graduate at the top of their class". This is no different for Vets... point being, we need to get 2nd opinions and do our homework - read up on conditions and treatment options. Ask questions, demand answers until we are satisfied! Also, great tip on performing a regular check up on the electrical connections in our vans! But also remember to check on the wires or plugs that may be subjected to friction rubbing as they pass through openings in the build and can wear insulation or shrink wrap and cause damage. And add rubber grommets to protect from sharp edges. Great work and thanks for providing genuinely entertaining and realistic van-life videos!

We know how you feel our 7 year old cockapoo Arnold became very ill over 24hrs our vets were brilliant advising us of all our options and outcomes but we made the difficult decision to put our beloved pup to sleep our other dog is totally lost as we are but thankfully you found a good vet too

People don’t understand when they don’t have fur babies don’t how upsetting it is our Holly was 9years when she got a tuma on the brain 6years ago I still haven’t forgotten about her I wake up every morning and who would be on my pillow with her leg over my chest as if she was cuddling HOLLY she had to be put to sleep 5 to 6 years ago and I can say I think of her most nights and also I forgot to mention she was a miniature bulldog Thanks guys enjoy your show 😢
sadly it is becoming difficult to find good vets. I totally understand the concerns vet clinics can sometimes cause customers. My dog went in for surgery this week and the vet asked what his weight was, the vet assistant looked in my dogs medical book and read of the first weight logged in it [that was his puppy weight], I had to step in and remind the assistant that my dog was no longer a puppy, and his more recent weights for worming were more. I was not happy that they did not insist on putting him on scales for an accurate weight, knowing that anesthetic dosages must be correct. I spent the entire day worrying about his surgery and would he have received the correct dosage of drugs. Thankfully he survived, but the stress could have been avoided.
Wow what a nightmare that was for you! So glad your pup came through it but they should have weighed him as how can they get the dose correct? You would like to think they weigh them just prior to surgery maybe in the back as a wrong dose can be fatal, sorry you had this experience!
The pet is family member, even if it is a fly. I miss my dogs, my daughter's cat ( Zorro were even mine, when they lived in my home), mam's dog and her cat 'Hassan' (about 20 years old). Hope everything will be ok with your pet 🤗

Hope you don't mind me pointing out, the new vets is called Copper Beech (as per their name board on the video), not Copper head. I believe that's a species of snake. Hope you can enjoy a stress-free time ahead.
We just had similar with star, took her in for a pre spaye check up, told she'd be good to go, 2 weeks later she couldn't have the op as she was at the end of a phantom pregnancy, £60 later with 7ml of liquid to dampen the phantom effects got to go back in a week to get her checked again, plus we had to pay half upfront for the operation
Yeah it’s been a week for us, and it’s a hard one as we are grateful for them previously saving Poppy but we do not think they have conducted themselves in a professional or moral way!

@@UrbanVanlife she was 16 it was her time. Vets for pets Crewe Dan the vet was great. Kept her going for a year on injections. Got her cremated at sleepy meadow pet cemetery in sandbach. Leave no one behind sort of feeling. She's back home next to her brother that past away suddenly 18mths ago. Dogs are truly your best friend and aren't judgemental........ Power station looks interesting 👍

oft man poor Pop[py, really pleased it wasnt what they said it was, i may have a Cyst on my Pancras, at least thats what the consultant things from my chest CT scan (it shows halfish of the pancreas, so if it was that it can be very painful and uncomfortable.
Yes we can, we have taken some time to calm ourselves down as it’s best to deal with things like this in a calm manner, rather than what was going through our heads when it happened!
So glad Poppy is now in good hands with a Vet who knows what he is doing more for your own welfare as well as Poppy's, we have 2 house cats which are 10 & 13 yrs old, the youngest has been diagnosed with Hyperthydoidism which is an over active thyroid however, we bought the first 30ML bottle of medication from the Vets at a cost of £52.00 for 30 days, I looked online and I can get the same product 100ML which is 100 days of medication for £47.00 but the bit that sticks in my craw, I have to pay the vet £25.00 for a written prescription so that I can get this cheaper, how the fuck can they warrant that when they are supposed to be for the poor animal.
Have no words, it’s sad that everything seems to boil down to money these days, humans pay £9/10 for a prescription so there should be some form of regulation in place similar for animals

Same here, had them in a doggie spa for a couple of days when we where at a wedding and I was watching them on the CCTV the whole time (wouldn’t have had them in there but they weren’t allowed at the hotel)
Old school vets are the best vets,Dont even get me started on the big commercial vets,my dog stood on a broken bottle and i rushed him in,£375 later,i left with the advice to keep it clean and give him shorter walks.
If you are going over to Northern Ireland from Scotland you don’t need anything as it’s still a part of the UK, now once you are over there there are no boarder controls so technically you can just travel around but that’s not to say that you might not get checked, you can either do what we did and get an eu passport for your dogs whilst over there or get animal health certificate but they only last one trip/3 months, we did a video on the EU passports and there are still vets in Northern Ireland where you can get them.

Hi , Neil …could you help me as I ve just bought ‘ Allpowers R 600 power station’ and the unit came with NO power whatsoever. When I plug it into the wall after a minute it starts beeping & shows E2 ( error code). Even my hubby cannot get it started ; any thoughts ? I d appreciate if you had any ideas or is it just a dud . I bought it from Allpowers themselves. Please 🏴jan
Hi Jan Emma here, an E2 error code is usually to do with overload somewhere, however if you have a look on TH-cam there has been serval issues with this make and model of power station and this error code, I’d suggest getting in touch with Allpowers and either asking for a replacement or a refund for the unit, there’s loads of info even on Reddit, there have been many issues, hope this helps
Oh my Gosh, guys. No wonder you looked furious Emma. You were put through absolute 💩because of negligence. Its absolutely NOT on. If you don't take this further you'll be daft. Poor Poppy could have been put through un-nessecary treatment for nothing. I feel bloody angry for you. I also chuffin HATE the cockwombles who say "It's just a dog....its just a cat.....its only an animal" I cant say what I want to do to folk who say that but it would give me a criminal record😠😠😠. Its good that your former vet suggested going to a fresh one because the new one gave you better news and I'm so glad Poppy is gonna be alright. Its hard having animals, ive had horse's, dogs chicken's ect in the past. No more animals for me as i dont trust the vets? Basically some are just licensed to print money ! In other words ripp you off and dont have any concern for your pet. Im glad little poppy is ok and i totally get the stress 😩 its awful. I cant go through loosing another pet neither its heartbreaking 💔 xx
I was told that my dog needed eye treatment for the rest of her life at £180? every couple of months. Can get same treatment for humans online with a couple of questions for about 30 quid every 3 months

People don’t understand when they don’t have fur babies don’t how upsetting it is our Holly was 9years when she got a tuma on the brain 6years ago I still haven’t forgotten about her I wake up every morning and who would be on my pillow with her leg over my chest as if she was cuddling HOLLY she had to be put to sleep 5 to 6 years ago and I can say I think of her most nights and also I forgot to mention she was a miniature bulldog

sadly it is becoming difficult to find good vets. I totally understand the concerns vet clinics can sometimes cause customers. My dog went in for surgery this week and the vet asked what his weight was, the vet assistant looked in my dogs medical book and read of the first weight logged in it [that was his puppy weight], I had to step in and remind the assistant that my dog was no longer a puppy, and his more recent weights for worming were more. I was not happy that they did not insist on putting him on scales for an accurate weight, knowing that anesthetic dosages must be correct. I spent the entire day worrying about his surgery and would he have received the correct dosage of drugs. Thankfully he survived, but the stress could have been avoided.
Wow what a nightmare that was for you! So glad your pup came through it but they should have weighed him as how can they get the dose correct? You would like to think they weigh them just prior to surgery maybe in the back as a wrong dose can be fatal, sorry you had this experience!

Yeah I only realised that after we had put the video out (Emma here) it’s been a long week we aren’t at our finest this week!!!
We just had similar with star, took her in for a pre spaye check up, told she'd be good to go, 2 weeks later she couldn't have the op as she was at the end of a phantom pregnancy, £60 later with 7ml of liquid to dampen the phantom effects got to go back in a week to get her checked again, plus we had to pay half upfront for the operation

@@UrbanVanlife she was 16 it was her time. Vets for pets Crewe Dan the vet was great. Kept her going for a year on injections. Got her cremated at sleepy meadow pet cemetery in sandbach. Leave no one behind sort of feeling. She's back home next to her brother that past away suddenly 18mths ago. Dogs are truly your best friend and aren't judgemental........ Power station looks interesting 👍
That must've been a stressful week. Just not good enough by your old vet. Pets are family members and the reason why you pay a bloody fortune to make sure they're taken care of. Thank god Poppy is going to be OK and both of you can relax a little after this ordeal.

oft man poor Pop[py, really pleased it wasnt what they said it was, i may have a Cyst on my Pancras, at least thats what the consultant things from my chest CT scan (it shows halfish of the pancreas, so if it was that it can be very painful and uncomfortable.

So glad Poppy is now in good hands with a Vet who knows what he is doing more for your own welfare as well as Poppy's, we have 2 house cats which are 10 & 13 yrs old, the youngest has been diagnosed with Hyperthydoidism which is an over active thyroid however, we bought the first 30ML bottle of medication from the Vets at a cost of £52.00 for 30 days, I looked online and I can get the same product 100ML which is 100 days of medication for £47.00 but the bit that sticks in my craw, I have to pay the vet £25.00 for a written prescription so that I can get this cheaper, how the fuck can they warrant that when they are supposed to be for the poor animal.
Have no words, it’s sad that everything seems to boil down to money these days, humans pay £9/10 for a prescription so there should be some form of regulation in place similar for animals

Same here, had them in a doggie spa for a couple of days when we where at a wedding and I was watching them on the CCTV the whole time (wouldn’t have had them in there but they weren’t allowed at the hotel)

Old school vets are the best vets,Dont even get me started on the big commercial vets,my dog stood on a broken bottle and i rushed him in,£375 later,i left with the advice to keep it clean and give him shorter walks.

Hi, live your videos, I'm thinking of going to Scotland, northern Ireland and then Ireland and we've got 3 dogs, what do we need for Ireland? Cheers
If you are going over to Northern Ireland from Scotland you don’t need anything as it’s still a part of the UK, now once you are over there there are no boarder controls so technically you can just travel around but that’s not to say that you might not get checked, you can either do what we did and get an eu passport for your dogs whilst over there or get animal health certificate but they only last one trip/3 months, we did a video on the EU passports and there are still vets in Northern Ireland where you can get them.

Hi , Neil …could you help me as I ve just bought ‘ Allpowers R 600 power station’ and the unit came with NO power whatsoever. When I plug it into the wall after a minute it starts beeping & shows E2 ( error code). Even my hubby cannot get it started ; any thoughts ? I d appreciate if you had any ideas or is it just a dud . I bought it from Allpowers themselves. Please 🏴jan
Hi Jan Emma here, an E2 error code is usually to do with overload somewhere, however if you have a look on TH-cam there has been serval issues with this make and model of power station and this error code, I’d suggest getting in touch with Allpowers and either asking for a replacement or a refund for the unit, there’s loads of info even on Reddit, there have been many issues, hope this helps

Oh my Gosh, guys. No wonder you looked furious Emma. You were put through absolute 💩because of negligence. Its absolutely NOT on. If you don't take this further you'll be daft. Poor Poppy could have been put through un-nessecary treatment for nothing. I feel bloody angry for you. I also chuffin HATE the cockwombles who say "It's just a dog....its just a cat.....its only an animal" I cant say what I want to do to folk who say that but it would give me a criminal record😠😠😠. Its good that your former vet suggested going to a fresh one because the new one gave you better news and I'm so glad Poppy is gonna be alright. Like I said when we chatted in messager, Poppy is a family member just like if she was a child or sister and when bad stuff happens to them its just as devastating . The Puppers are also valued and loved members of our TH-cam Urban vanlife family and we love them on the channel. Its hard having animals, ive had horse's, dogs chicken's ect in the past. No more animals for me as i dont trust the vets? Basically some are just licensed to print money ! In other words ripp you off and dont have any concern for your pet. Im glad little poppy is ok and i totally get the stress 😩 its awful. I cant go through loosing another pet neither its heartbreaking 💔 xx

I was told that my dog needed eye treatment for the rest of her life at £180? every couple of months. Can get same treatment for humans online with a couple of questions for about 30 quid every 3 months
