Hey Kam2057 Sorry but the XP seat isn't adjustable on the fly. There is a fairly simple do it yourself fix. Pull the bolt. You will have to use a wrench inside the seat through the large hole in the side of the seat under the BA Outfitting. Then move the seat where you want it and drill the hole through the existing hole in the boat and into the new spot on the seat itself. Sorry for any confusion. Shane
I would love to see this video updated based on a 2015 remix. Just bought my daughter a 2015 remix 59 and there is an additional piece holding in the bulkhead. I haven't figured how to get things out around it to swap out the foot plate.
+David Weibel one way to get around it is to unscrew one or both of the "arms" on the bulkhead before you pull it out, and attach the new one once it is in place as well. Looks like we need to put this on the list of videos to do. Thanks
Badass outfitting is truly the most comfortable seating etc but one very major flaw with skegged liquid logic kayaks is the leak. Really leak. I'll never go back to a liquid logic kayak until the leaking skeg handle is either replaced or made water tight.
Hey Shane, I bought a remix XP 10 2 months ago brand new( Its awesome by the way) I tried to adjust the seat loosened the screws and that seat wouldnt budge. Is the remix XP 10 seat adjustable?
Let's say hypothetically that while adjusting the seat, someone inadvertently loosens the screw too much...what happens then? Remix 79 couple years old
Hey Shane, We just got one of the last Remix 47s for our 9 year old son, and it came with a bulkhead foot platform and foam pad, but is outfitted with footpegs. Can I place these on top of the footpegs? Or can a bulkhead system even be installed on this boat? Would I have to take the center support beam out and cut a hole in it, like in the other video?? Thanx.
+richardhoerz Sorry I missed this post somehow. Your boat should not have come with that equipment but you have it now! So I hope you have come up with a good system.
