@@adolfotahay I was stuck between buying the storm limited and Thunder 2 . Ended up getting a Thunder 2 since my boy who got me into scooters owns a storm. Both are fun to ride IMO.
Sometimes I don’t really know if the price of high performance electric scooters are justified. Most of them will either die of requires (hard to get) replacement battery after 6k. Even if you find, it will cost a lot. Then the question of what are we saving by spending $4-6k on electric scooter?
I guess it all depends how you use it. I have a Dogo Argentino that I have a leash attached to it and we go on our 3 to 6 mi trott daily. I used to scooter as I no longer have cartilage in both of my knees so cycling is out of it. Then I use it for work to travel one mile each way when the weather permits. Then there are the intangibles where I just like going by myself after a hard day to a new coffee shop and relaxing. Taking all together the 1600 I spent on my DualTron Eagle has been money well spent. The scooter is fast enough for my 53 year old body. Yes it can go 40+ (with limiter removed) but I never go over 30. I bought the "speed" actually for the battery life which goes hand in hand. Before the eagle I had a Ninebot max for several years. Thing was a tank. I appreciate these vehicles off the places it has allowed me to enjoy that otherwise I wouldn't have with my Dogo and myself.
Idk what it is, but when I go this fast I don't like using the finger throttle. I'll use thr thumb throttle all day. Feel like I have more control znd better grip with my other fingers. Be safe out there. The scooter is a beast
I just finished my first summer with a quick scooter and I can't tell you how many times I almost ran over a squirrel, enough times that I started carrying a bb gun God forbid I do hit one and have to end it's suffering... Anyone else having ridiculous amounts of close calls with squirrels? I've always been on wheels, from roller skates to sports bikes and never had this problem. Idk if anyone remembers the deer whistles people used to put on their cars but I'm gonna look for on that'll work for squirrels.
Thankfully I got my ultra 1 for 1.4k AUD with 400kms. Knobby tires r on it's way but need those PMT fitted. Otherwise chunky platform deck and smooth scooter, previously owned a Dualtron 3.
Have fun, enjoy your ride 👌🏿
Thank you very much, friend

only 44 mph ? i thought it was faster
He is in eco. Mode 3 and eco maxes out at 45 mph
The display does not mark the speed correctly. With the GPS it reaches 55 or 60 MPH
@@adolfotahay in the P settings. Change wheel size to 10.5 and it will be accurate enough to match gps
@@DrWonderEyes Thank you very much. I'm going to set it up
That thing is slow and i noticed your not double taping the throttle
I was in Eco mode and it only reaches 45mph. I'm preparing a video for the maximum speed test.

Fix that creaking noise bro and why so slow my ultra 2 would destroy that thing
