I am currently converting a toyota coaster on my own. I have found your channel so helpful. I love the way you explain things and why you chose the things you have used. Thank you!
That was a great video. You were very practical and very informative. You’ve given me a lot of really practical information to consider. Keep up the great work.
I found the pro and cons on the different ways of insulating your bus to be very helpful. You stated a few that I hadn’t even considered. And since I haven’t reached that point yet, it’s a good time for me to rethink my choices.
Dear “Girl with dog”, Absolutely love your content and your presentation. Outstanding communication skills. Thanks for sharing your knowledge and skills.
I love your videos. I used the trim tools last night and they were a game changer. I'm just about to do my foilboard. Keep going with thr videos please! I'm following your journey. You're great on the camera. Love your research and attention to detail.
Well done and thought out. Your correct about the orange conduit being an overkill ( rated > 1000VAC) when your using 12VDC . Their are many more flexible conduits that are easier to use. I liking your videos 👍🚎
I mainly used the orange conduit because it was the only one I could find that was made from unplasticised PVC, which wouldn't react with the polystyrene insulation
So far it seems to work well. But I am not yet living in the bus. I will be moving in at the end of this month and will be able to see how well it performs over the coming summer.
I will be doing that in August this year. I purposely made the decision to do the electrical at the end of my build because I wanted all of the cables to be fully accessible, and not hidden inside walls or ceiling.
I’m confused, I thought the foil side goes on the inside and green faces out? All videos I’ve watched that is the case, including the official Foilboard instructions. For sheds and homes etc. anyway! So does it not make any difference which way it goes? Looking at doing my shed with these or Ametalin foil liner!
In terms of the insulation factor, it doesn't make any difference which way around the Foilboard goes. The only reason it is green on one side and they put that to the outside of buildings is because it reduces the glare of light reflecting off it.
I used approximately six sheets of the 25mm and about 2/3 sheet of 15mm. I can't remember how many rolls of the silver tape I used but it was quite a lot for the Foilboard and the next layer of insulation too. Maybe 6 rolls? Sorry I don't remember that.
I got to hand it to you, you do your homework 👍
Am wanting to insulate a room from the inside, and this was VERY helpful, especially how the installation is done with the spacers.
Hey, excellent job! Well done and thank you for posting this video!

I'm glad you're finding my videos helpful Danielle! Good luck with your conversion. It's so rewarding doing it yourself
Well thought out, the insulation fitment is great, you will help many bus owners to do a great job of insulating their projects.

Hi Dyani,
How well do you think your insulation approach has performed.
Great videos by the way.
Cheers Barry

Peppers grown heaps!
Yes she has literally doubled in size since I first adopted her
Hi Did you get the spacers from bunnings as ive never seen them there when ive checked out the foilboards.
No, I bought them from BetaBoard which is a company here in Brisbane that supplies Foilboard. You may be able to buy them online.
how much 25mm foil board was needed for the coaster? if you can remember a year ago that is
I used approximately six sheets of the 25mm and about 2/3 sheet of 15mm
@@AGirlADogandABus thanks
Hello,
When do you get the electrical layout put in?
I will be doing that in August this year. I purposely made the decision to do the electrical at the end of my build because I wanted all of the cables to be fully accessible, and not hidden inside walls or ceiling.
@@AGirlADogandABus Your videos are soooooo helpful!
Hope to met you out on the road someday 😊

@@AGirlADogandABus ah ok thank you! ☺️
How much of each product did you need. Foilboard, foil board tape etc. Thanks 🙂

Hoping foilboard will fit in the back of my sedan without having to cut it to fit 🤔🧐
