I play with the J2ti and I really like it coming from the Ruby. I am a young player with alot of power so I found that power paddles were not my friend causing me to hit long balls. If you like "dwell" time, you'll love the J2ti. If you like stiff paddles, it will be a big adjustment, but if any of you like the Ruby I'd definitely give this one a try. I feel like it's a Ruby with more spin. I have a discount code for any of you that are interested in a Sword and Shield paddle. The price point for HPC paddles is almost always significantly better than their competitors and specs are equal if not better.
Luca I watch all reviews and I’ve gotten lost. What is the best paddle (in your opinion) for “dwell time” and the “connected” feel you especially appreciate?? Disregard all other characteristics, thank you!!
Peel ply is peeled off leaving the texture of the ply embossed in the epoxy on the paddle face. 3 top US reviewers use the Shogun as their daily. At least two of them are heavy hitters and haven’t reported any face degradation/wear so I take it these are no different than any RCF or Kevlar based paddle faces as far as wear goes.
@@terogan Get your point on reviewers paddles. Pros never have to worry about durability. Looking forward to the next gen "grits sheets" I'm hearing that's coming out.
I love HPC. Still rocking the J3K Pro. Great company.
This is my favorite of the year. Great vid!

Would you be able to make a review of the Gearbox Pro Ultimate. Love the way you go into detail on every paddle you review
I just got my 14mm J2K from rockets&runners. I like it a lot ; my 2 years old 6.0 DBD can retire now. Thanks for your advice.

j2k, j2kTi, pulse s, shogun or j7k...which is a better paddle, if u can rank them. for intermediate player that uses 2 hands backhand.tia :)
Could you review the Mark OneX
Would you put this above the J2K on the tier list?
How does the J2Ti compare to the Double Black Diamond? Pop, power, control?
More control and similar pop/power.
I would think that the "peel ply" would have durability issues, adhering to the PET threads compared to Carbon or Kevlar.

How would you compare the J2Ti to the Pulse V?
Pulse V
Hows the CTRL1 lol
I've seen other posts that there customer service is sub par...what have you heard?
i've warranty replaced two core crushed j2k's with no problem. I don't really blame them for the core crushing because i just hit hard.
Did he really say artificially metallic?
J2K > J2TI
