Anybody know about 'kallana' or 'thumbiyana' which are so called (suspected) subspecies (yet to confirm) if asian elephants like these Borneo elephants.
Those kallanas are reported seen in Agastyarkoodam region in Kerala,southern India.
Govt is not even interested in finding the truth behind this.
If anybody can, please do care the issue.
Some scientist said that this elephant originally is come from java brougth to borneo as the gift for the sultan Sulu (now southern PH) a long long time ago, then the sultan release it to the borneo jungle.. but today the original javanesse elephant is already extinct.

There was romour about myterious DWARF elephants that most people did not believe, then it is real ?!?. May be their relatives were brought across the straight long time ago, to malaya peninsula. But they are not too small as said so...comparatively.
It's called island dwarfism, meanwhile Kalimantan or Borneo island also have one of the largest bugs in the world, it's called island gigantism
Javan Elephant was given to Kingdom of Sulu in Sabah and Sulu Archipelago, and release to the wild. that how Javan Elephant end up. Java, Sumatra, Sulawesi, Peninsular Malay, Borneo have close relationship, with Philippine Archipelago. in Luzon, Visaya and Mindanao, Majapahit try to Invade Luzon but failed if not, Luzon and Visaya must be under Majapahit.

Top predators in Borneo is clouded leopard, it's just as big as grey wolf. The other is Python and crocs.

Contohnya gampang, orang luar sengaja sediain bird feeder biar burung pada dateng, kalo kita malah bangga beli burung mahal2 dan dikandangin.

These elephants came from the southern Philippines, given by Indian visitors during precolonial times. Re introduce them again to Mindanao Island and they will definitely thrive there
