Hello Robert, Lots of little bits done and decisions made. In the end, if you are happy, then it is perfect! I like the paving slabs as you have done them and the shed floor and such is really nice. The camera shots from inside the building were quite enjoyable. So, from trunking cable to water pipe, it is all quite wonderful to see! Well done!
Hi Anthony & Joyce, As always thank you so much for watching and your very nice comments and your right it is sometimes the little additions that make a scene come to life more to come awaiting a delivery but the loading shed awaits. Cheers Robert.
Hi Martin, Well this end to end seems to run from the UK all the way to Thailand so thats not to bad!!!! Cheers for watching and your very nice comments and the ballasting is progressing well but the unloading shed is next all things (well most) in order. Hope you are well over there and not to hot. Cheers Robert.
Hi Alberto, Liking all the aircraft etc videos you are doing at the moment well done. I thank you for taking the time to watch this and your very nice comments you to have a super week. Cheers Robert.
@@robertstrainset6556 I thank you very much dear Robert.I stopped ti make clips of my trains as you know all them. The next aircraft will be an American Curtiss P40 the same scale of my spitfire.Every morning my wife measures my blood sugar in November I will have to do several tests. Thanks for the comment I wish you a good weekend. In Italy we are scourged by rain, Elia and Tuscany have had floods with deaths. 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊

Morning Robert. Good to see you are well and great to see your video as always. Sorry to hear you aren't drinking as much Stella as normal, hopefully this'll pass and you'll be back on track as normal, as we know how great the packaging is for modelling (my entire hillsides are made from it) lol. The road surface came out really well and looking forward to seeing that area come along. That metal fencing looks amazing, very nice indeed. I think you've got some fantastic ideas on this layout. Have a lovely weekend Robert. Best regatds as always, Lee
Hi Lee, Cheers as always for watching and your very nice comments but I fear my Stella drinking days are over but the good news is that leaves more for you, as you have seen no video this week hope to do one for next Friday when the unloading shed will be started how far I get with it remains to be seen. I hope your well and will at sometime be able to do an update on your progress. Cheers Robert.
Nice update on the end to end which is coming on very well! The use of the silver sand is a brilliant idea and I might just copy that idea. I must confess I have never heard of silver sand until you mentioned it and think I might try it out first on a bit of scrap wood to see how it all works out before I applying to my layout. Presumably you stuck it down with PVA glue. Top job all round. Cheers for now Malcolm
Hi Malcolm, Yes to do the road better to paint the surface first as I had then PVA with a brush cover with a good lot of the S/S and pat down if you want let it dry and just brush off saving it if you can and then another coat the same and paint to a color that you want easy. As always cheers for watching and your very nice comments hope you are well. Cheers Robert.
Hi Robert, great update my friend. Just some feedback back that you asked for. The cable trunking would normally only have one run not side by side but it still looks good. The tree next to the station looks really good in that position the only thing I would do is build a raised bed around it with a wall. The metal fencing you should be able to glue them together with a spot of superglue. The old Hornby signals always look too big to me so it’s better by the bridge than the station. Hope this feedback helps but always remember rule 1 it’s your railway 👍 Keep safe and well my dear friend Andy
Hi Andy, Thank you very much for watching and your very good input so the Hornby signals are out I will get some a lot smaller as for the metal fencing I did try superglue but it did glue but as such a small contact area was not very strong but as they are now in postion with holes drilled will leave as they are like this it is easy to remove them if needed to do work!!! as for the tree yes a raised bed with wall and the barriers as well after all if you hit a tree the car always comes off worst. You also stay well and safe. Cheers Robert.
Hello Robert Great update I really like the pavement and road surfaces. Great idea putting your cube camera inside the building. Personaly I think the signals don't look right but it's your layout my friend. Take care
Hi Deano, Yes I think we all agree the signals are a thing of the past so some smaller ones needed at some stage. Cheers for watching and your very nice comments and yes I am pleased with the road and pavement surface and so easy to do and cheap. You to take care. Cheers Robert.
Hi, Thanks for watching and your very nice comment glad you liked it and well done for posting some videos we all have to start somewhere. Cheers Robert.
Bringing the layout to life! Making good use of your Stella Artois boxes, not sure about the signal, might be the camera angle makes it look a bit big. Great update.
Hi Roy, No they are to big which is why I took them off the loft layout so plan B needed. I thank you very much for watching and your as always very nice and helpful comments. I hope you are well and Mrs Roy is ok after her appointment. Working on the next update but a few health issues at the moment I will have to see how it goes but I think its not serious. Cheers Robert.
Hi Robert I think you can count that as wins as everything looks good and I like the base for the water column and also a good idea in making a base for the cube camera in the signal box . It’s always difficult to find new shots and you should get some interesting ones from there. Congratulations on the new subscribers too. Cheers Kev 👍🏾
Hi Kev, Yes all coming along well but now must do the unloading shed so the ballasting can be completed cheers for watching and your very nice comments and the signal box view may come in handy for a graphics section in a video. I hope you are all ok there and your layout is like mine progressing ok. Cheers Robert.
Hi, Glad you like it what do you think of the layout in the loft my 1st one? Cheers for watching and your very nice comment another update will come. Cheers Robert.
Hi Gordon, Spot on with the signals I think we all agree they look a bit silly. So thank you for watching and your very nice and helpful comments next it has to be the unloading shed does it not so more for you to watch enjoy. Cheers Robert.
In real life, a double home signal gantry is seen in between two tracks of run-round loop status within the station throat. A very sensible place for the gantry to be. The home signal over the line to the left will tell the engine on the left track, "You can go, you have right of way." The same for the signal on the right, to let the engine on the right hand side know what's what. Your model signal gantry ought to be near the engine shed, it's in the right place there. Thus, a collision is avoided, which might be caused by two engines starting off at once.
Hi Kelly, Very impressed by you knowlege of the signals so thank you for watching and your interesting comments hope you are keeping well & enjoying the trains. Cheers Robert.

Cool looking layout
Hi,
Glad you like it what do you think of the layout in the loft my 1st one? Cheers for watching and your very nice comment another update will come.
Cheers Robert.
I love watching layout builds. Softly softly katchee monkey its a hobby so no rush. As for the signals too much they appear out of scale IMO.

I think that they are a bit over powering wherever you place them
Hi Gary,
Yes thank you for confurming my thoughts cheers for watching and your very nice and helpful comments.
