Hi Richard, It was great to meet you also as it does not happen very often but to get two of you on the same day was super for me. Thank you also for watching and the very nice comments I hope it bought the day back for you. Cheers Robert.
Hello, Robert! What an amazing collection of layouts. SO many great stories to see and watch! We are glad you shared this with us mere mortals who will not get to see all these! Cheers and best wishes, with a thank you on top! A & J
Hi Anthony & Joyce, This must be one of the biggest shows in the UK so was glad I went it was as you say amazing and the man who put it on has said that the catering will be ok next year but the location was just on another level all that history. I thank you for watching and your very nice comments I am glad to send it to you all overseas as some of you may come to see it for yourselves you never know!!!! Cheers Robert.
Hi Colin, I am glad you enjoyed it so cheers for watching and your very nice comments. I hope you are keeping well and your layouts are progressing ok. Cheers Robert.
Lovely video of a great show at Chatham and it was nice to briefly speak with you whilst you waited in the food queue. I must say that I always look forward to your videos and like the brilliant work you do. Cheers for now - Malcolm
Hi Malcolm, Yes that food queue the only bit of the show that let it down but next year it will be good I have been told. It was super to meet you there as there are not many of my subscribers that I do meet. I thank you very much for that as well as watching this and your super comments and I am pleased you enjoyed the video. Cheers Robert.
Hi Robert … Enjoyed the video. As usual the standard of the layouts that are on show at our hobby exhibitions is fantastic. Great to see plenty of traders. But there is nothing worse than poor catering. I don’t mind paying the usual exhibition premium prices, as long as the quality and hygiene standards are good. But it can take the edge off a good show if the food is rubbish (just my personal opinion, for what it’s worth). Hope to see you soon. Steve 👍👍
Hi Steve, The man in charge of this event has contacted me and said that the catering was not as promised to him but it will be ok next year and the main problem was how long you had to wait it took me 20 mins. odd to get a tea both of which were not good!!! I thank you for watching and your very nice comments and it was otherwise a super show and must have taken a lot of work to organize. This show was not expensive only £10 on the door (£9 in advance) + £3.50 parking for up to 7 hours so almost cheap for the size of it. I hope you are well and enjoying your trains and another video from you soon. Cheers Robert.
Hi John, Yes a super show indeed so thanks for watching and your very nice comments as for you not coming from me it was as you see 85 miles or so a lot further for you but next year who knows one thing the catering should be good as have just had a comment from the organizer as I should not have gone through the open gates!!!! Enjoy your modeling on your hols. Cheers Robert.
Hi Allan, Yes a super show indeed well worth going and what a place to hold it in as always thanks for watching and your very nice comment and so nice to see Kev having to work but great to meet him again but I missed Peter!!!and a few others a meet up would have been good. Cheers Robert.
Hi Andy, All I had was a tea which was not good and it took 20 odd min. to get it so the food may have been good but there was only one van with two people in it no where near enough for the size of the show but all the rest was great. Cheers as always for watching and your very nice comments. Cheers Robert.
@robertstrainset6556 so I'm the person who organised the event. This was also the first ever show I've organised. So yes there is a few mistakes. The burger van person let us down. He promised much more then what he can do i didnt event get to eat and i spent 16 hour days there . So next year I'll be getting a bigger and better ones. Also for future reference please do not go through that gate. The gate was open for vehicle access Several people walked through and it the dockyard have complained to us about it
@@jameswhiting4913 HI Sir, Thank you so much for watching and your comments and I think we did see each other as I came from the car park so this show was fantastic and your Kev a fellow YT did say about the catering man letting you down and as an organising person its no way your fault a lesson for next year. As for going through the gates there were sercurity there and all I wanted after my 85 mile drive was a drink (A super mug of tea for £2) which I did get at the very nice restarant there but got locked in as I had no pass but a very nice lady returned me to the gates and did say they thought that an agreement had been in place to let us use the lavatory there I am sorry if it did cause any friction with the port but do not feel I did anything wrong. Again a super show well done. Cheers Robert.
@robertstrainset6556 that's all cool it's not a problem these things happen. Glad you enjoyed it. I'm the one that originally invited kev to club. To be fair I wish that wagon stop cafe was in the show as atleast they woulda been able to keep up. I can only apologise for there mess up. If catering if the only negative for you then for my first ever show it's not to bad. Thank you for travelling the distance to come I appreciate it. We will have better catering next year so hopefully will see you next year at the show.
@@jameswhiting4913 I apologise for my remarks, I just know how Robert loves his tea. It won't stop me coming next year as you are obviously on top of it now. If it's any consolation, I had a burger at Warley last year that would've made a Billy Goat puke...
If you'd like to look at my new N Gauge model collection, in its entirety, I've uploaded a video of it on my channel. Yes, I avoided N Gauge for a long time, but seeing Sam and a few other modellers playing N Gauge trains has made me give in. My good friend Alfie, fellow TH-camr, helped me out by posting some open wagons and closed vans to me.
Hi Robert great video. Good show so nice to meet you. Best wishes Richard Canterbury.

Thanks Robert, the catering must have been pretty woeful for you to put the boot in. I'm guessing there wasn't enough of it looking at the queue.
