It's criminal that this poem isn't more viewed and commented on. I lost my partner seven years ago to a horrible accident. He was 27. I'm 29 now. I'm older than he ever got to be. And I come back to this poem when I think about everything that happened.
There must be a little bit of magic in those pearls he is rocking, Sam Sax's words know what roads to take to arrive at a place called fucking awesome.
Amazing! Of course Sam Sax is always great, making you laugh and then pouring the perfect amount of emotion he's a great performer. Also I just got his book and it's as awesome as expected.
